The xm8 is also really fast now that they fixed the gear ratios so maybe you should try it again. If you drive towards the battle in reverse, the engine block and transmission eat just about any rounds that hit your rear. Not only absorbing APHE shells but also HEATFS and ATGMS. It is surprisingly effective, especially since the M6A2E1 can go just as fast in reverse as it can go forwards!
