He has some cleaning up to do to his form, mainly making sure his base is consistent (releasing on the way up and maybe jumping a little more forward and having his feet land more parallel). He gets a great quick dip and hip alignment, which helps him shoot from all different angles. His athleticism is ELITE, and he is crafty as hell around the basket. Obviously he will have to get stronger, but I think a team should take him in the top 10 easily. He will need a good coaching staff to help him develop and hone in his shot selection, but he would be the PERFECT 6th man with the potential to be a secondary scorer on a good team. He’s one of the most exciting prospects in the class.

He has a lot of room to grow defensively, and he has to get stronger, but the Raptors would be the perfect team to help him grow on defense. There’s a such thing as too many bigs, especially non shooting bigs, but teams should ALWAYS try to draft and develop as many wings/combos with shooting potential as possible. You can never have too many.

Not only passing, but also Suggs’ defense and effort are phenomenal as well. He has excellent athleticism (notch below young Rose). As a scorer, he gets to the basket at will, but he does need to work on his finishing some by improving his deceleration. His 3pt shot is inconsistent at the moment, but the form is very good with a lot of potential. He will likely end up shooting around 36-38% from 3 on a healthy amount of attempts. Jalen Suggs has clear all star level lead guard potential. Bouknight likely does have All Star potential in his 80th+percentile outcome, but his lack of vision does lower his ceiling quite a bit. To be clear I LOVE Bouknight as a top 10 talent, but saying Suggs doesn’t have the upside of Bouknight is just flat out wrong.
