    Brandon (5'9" to 5'10" and 165 pounds) is picking up another Revo from Hawaiian South Shore 😂 and can't resist talking about his experience with the board.
    Brandon is riding the 5'8" Revo, which has 33 liters of volume, and he finds it incredibly responsive and the fastest board he's ever owned. He also talks about his experience with the two plus one setup and how it has been a lot of fun for him, especially in small waves.
    He even finds that it holds up well in bigger waves and gives him the same kind of projection while adding a little flare to his turns. Brandon used to ride standard shortboards around 5'11" to 6'0" with around 33-34 liters of volume. He then tried out a Firewire board and loved the lift and float it gave him over sections.
    He now uses a Merrick sides and a generic middle fin for his two plus one setup, and Dan Mans fins for his quad setup on weaker days. Overall, Brandon is addicted to the performance of his Revo and can't resist picking up another one.

    The Revo rocks! I ride a 5'11" (I'm 6ft, 187lbs). In hindsight, I wish I would have purchased the 5'10". Nevertheless, I have ridden the 2+1 Mark Richards (FCS II) in up to 6.5ft faces so far in Portugal. It holds really well and the turning is fun. I thought it might be too loose but that's not the case. In 3ft surf I rode the MR fins only with the sides (no center stabilizer) and had some fun but it felt like the fins were a bit to stiff for the weaker waves that day. I think I might of purchased with too much foam (38L). Overall, I am still testing different fins. For quad setups..... I need to test more before I form an opinion.

    Do you guys still have a covid problem there??

      No, not really.
      However, some individuals with weakened immune systems or those who live with elderly family members may choose to be extra cautious to prevent bringing any infections into their homes.
      In Hawaii, where many households consist of multiple families and generations living together, people often take additional precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of their loved ones.
      Additionally, several people in Hawaii will wear masks if they have a slight scratchy throat or if they are coughing or sneezing because they are concerned about potentially infecting others.
      People in Hawaii are generally more cautious and demonstrate a high level of respect towards each other. - David

    Hi, How do you think the Endorfin twins would go with the revo?

    • @hawaiiansouthshore
      @hawaiiansouthshore  Рік тому

      I haven't personally spoken to anyone who has used the Endorphin twins on this board.
      On smaller dayI it be to much hold thru the turns.
      But On larger, bumpy waves , it could potentially make the board easier to control because the fins make the board sit. - David
