I love Crazy Ex-Gf so much! As someone with BPD, they actually depict the mental illness aspect with fantastic honesty. “The Darkness”, “Oh My God! I Think I Like You?!”, the Theme Songs for the 3 first seasons (that she actually sings), “Sexy Getting Ready Song”, and the variety of songs sung by Greg, Josh, and Nathaniel (contrasting how they all give off a different tone and use different styles)
The Darkness is also such a standout for me. I feel like I don’t see people mentioning in their favorites or talking about it too much. It was one of the most cutting to me
I needed a CXG react SO MUCH. And this song is a masterpiece like the entire show 😍

PLEASE DO CXG WATCH PARTIES, I will be there and so will this fandom of loving and great people :D Many people feel weird about the last season particularly, but for me... someone who struggled with a job they didn't like, expectations their parents pressure on them , started a second degree older in life, changed careers even later in life and so on... that season was a great ending. Plus the commentary on relationships and mental health, no other show compares!
Hopefully we'll get more Crazy Ex reactions.

I'm looking forward to more reaction videos on crazy Ex-girlfrind not only because it has amazing music (which it does, and all hilarious and original), but also because it's just such a good show. Entertaining, heartwarming, relatable. I just hope more people will have a good time watching it as I did
So far I've only found two UA-camrs who are doing full reactions to CXG.
I love love love this show! I think season 4 lost it's way a little bit because it had more episodes than 2 and 3...I suspect that they weren't expecting the lengthened season, which is why it felt like there were so many "filler" episodes that season. Still, so many great songs in every season, and I love the overall story arc.

For me, as someone with a diagnosis, myself, those two first seasons are a bit of a struggle, as Rebecca (in my view) is putting her energy in all the wrong places, and that's why she is so sad and depressed.
I really love the last seasons, because she really begins to try and get better, and understand her self! She tries to shed the "fake" character, that she has played her whole life, to try and get into the realness of herself. Good, bad, ugly and inconsistent! To finally just "play herself", in this show that is life 😉😄
The last two seasons are way healthier, and much more inspirational, to me ❤️ I love her development! With the bumps along the way 😉😄
I really understand the journey! It's so precise to what (some) women with ADHD and/or autisme goes through, too! (Those are my diagnosis')
So, personally, I don't like the "woman desperately seeking a man's love, to be happy" seasons (1+2), as much as the last two. Because that is the really destructive face of her journey, in this show. But it's still an important part of her journey, so it fits with the story (and experience of many woman, really). And also it's so well written and funny and the songs are great through out the show! So I do like the two first seasons too! 😄
But the last seasons are definitely my favorites, for the reasons above ☺️
I don't know if you could (or would want to), change your minds on the later seasons ☺️ But maybe it would help for you, thinking about those points, of why it develops that way 😚😊
