I remember when I got my 3ds xl on my birthday. Right before I opened the present my mom told me that they sadly couldn't get it because it was too expensive. I almost cried right there until I opened and saw they played me big time 😂
I have almost the same story. For my 9th birthday, I wanted a 3ds and when I was going through the bag they had it had a few pieces of clothing. Ngl I was actually feeling a little sad but then I actually went through and found a 2DS with NSMB2 pre-installed. I know it's not a Christmas memory but it's a good one 😊
