I like both bikes equally understanding that they both have a different purpose in life. The Lowrider S is meant for more aggressive riding, hanging corners and generally ripping it wherever you want to go. The Street Bob is meant more for cruising around town, bar hopping or taking that little sweetie you pick up along the way for a ride.
Been debating between the two. Low rider s is looking like the better move for not too much more !
I wasn’t sure about that new paint for the Street Bob, but after watching this it’s growing on me!
I felt the same way and when I saw it in person I was like ooooooh shiiiiiiieeeet!!!
I look pretty good on that Street Bob 😃
Yea man that bike is calling you
Sorry but stock that street bob looks better than the lowrider s.
Love the Street Bob black and orange always look great together. Stay safe mate 👍🇦🇺
i used to be a Huge fan of the FX Bikes, then in the late 2000's i got into softails, then i went metric from about 2010 to 2020 still had a heritage softail in that time period but i tried the Suzuki M109R, the C90T Boss, the 1700 Roadstar , the 1300 Vstar Deluxe and the Honda Valkyrie 1832cc and they all had their pluses and minuses but last November i went back to Harley but bought a Road King, the new Yamaha based Softails i'm sure are a better frame than the dyna but after riding the big metrics the HD Softails feel like mini bikes to me, i love the look, but they just can't come close to my FLHRC and 3.5 gallons LOL just a hair more than a sportster, i have over 6 Gallons in my RK.......so for me no sale
The new street Bob is badass the paint job is better than any other new cvo paint jobs As far as the Bob Fender goes I love it I hate the new Fender on the low rider S I used to have a 2016 low rider S the chop fender looks so much better than that big donkey taillights sticking out the back on the new S
I like the new Street Bob 114. I ride a Limited. My wife and I do some week long trips and stuff. So, I’ll stick with my Limited. However, if I can find a way to get 2 bikes, that Street Bob is an option for a second bike. That Crimson color on the Low Rider S is awesome! I’ve seen it in person and that is honestly my favorite color out there this year. What other bikes does that come in?
Cool ride review, Jerry you look like your riding a sportster! Lol Personally I don’t think I’d buy a 21 not enough change! Just my opinion! 👍💯🇺🇸😎
That color omg stunning, that bike looks amazing, they did a great job with that one,the Street Bob
Trading my Iron 883 in for that sexy white Street Bob by end of summer!
Street bob looks bad ass in white!!!
Was waitin for this! Picked up a 2020 streetbob and then found out they put a 114 motor in the 2021! But I still like my all blacked out look of the 2020. I was hoping they mad the tank bigger.
Didn’t the 107 justify the smaller tank in a way ? I imagine your gonna burn through more gas with that bigger engine
Yea Idkn why they didn’t add a bigger gas tank
That will be on the next street bob in a few years lol.
My thoughts also. Also 2 of the 4 colors use orange. What?
Love both but I’d go with the Lowrider S..this upgrade to the street bob is encouraging though that they might be keeping it around ...I mean why improve on something that is set to be dropped...”supposedly “..
Was interested in this bike but the new Indian Chief has made this bike irrelevant for me.
bought a 2021 Street Bob. Loving the 114 and really surprised how good the gas mileage is. Tremendous for a large engine. Thanks for posting your video. Love your Low Rider too. Looks great.
Man street bob looks like the classic. Makes me consider trading in my iron 883, but still in love with that bike since 1957...
I traded in my Iron 1200 on a Street Bob on Friday
@@Albertaautoreview Did you do any stage upgrades on your Iron 1200 if so whats the difference?
@@expendable4h002 I had a stage one with SE tuner, SE intake and V&H short shots. I had them from the day I bought the bike and it had lots of get up and go
@@Albertaautoreview Cool. I wanted to know if it really made a difference in performance. I have the 2020 Iron 1200 stock and need to decide if I should spend the $3k for stage 2 or just upgrade to the 2021 Street Bob next year. Is the performance noticeable between the stage 1 and the 114 engine ? What do you consider the biggest difference? Thank you in advance.
@@expendable4h002 I haven’t rode mine yet but I have rode 114 baggers and the difference is night and day. I always thought I could do anything with my Sporty, long road trips etc but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the Bob for your money is gonna give you more than the Sportster
Good choice! Low Rider S vs Street Bob 114... I was wondering who would be the first! Thanks brother!
Just had an idea, how about getting a metric cruiser :D one of the Japanese bikes
maybe a project bike one day hmm
I dig the new street bob
If you can get past the rear skinny tire, which I’m sure most people will, I believe the new Street Bob is going to be a strong seller considering what you’re getting for the selling price. Never mind the 3.5gal tank. That’s at least 140 miles you’re getting out of one tank without stopping for fuel so for city commute is not bad. Single front brakes now days are not what they used to be, they are more than capable for normal driving and I’m sure they can take some abuse if you push them. All and all, great starter bike 👌
The Street Bob is definitely a winner this year. Thanks for the video.
I bought one they're great
Bro I’ve been waiting for a good review of both of these beauties. Thank you!! For my short ass I think I’m leaning more towards the street bob. Plus it’s a lot lighter to lug around with my short legs too. Def a plus for short people.
My wife just picked me up a 2021 FXLRS on Saturday, super excited!
Congrats
@@Marvelkid87 thanks! It was a early bday gift. Rode it home in 25F with 17mph. I got the midnight crimson. Can't wait for warmer weather in south Jersey to get out and ride!
This dude Marvel is the FXLRS poster boy. I can't say his contented did n't contribute to me getting mine 3 months ago.
@@hackrockstar lol
Hello from Montreal just left a deposit on a beautiful street bob
Heads up!! The speedometer on the low rider isn’t working in this video. In my opinion they designed these perfectly. Everyone wants to complain about the tank...:but it’s a bobber. Bobbers are known for small/peanut style tanks. You’re still getting 150+ miles out of it. I don’t get why people act like getting gas is such a pain in the ass lmao. Even on a long ride you’ll probably appreciate a break after 130+ miles. Fxlrs is overpriced in my opinion. Yes you do get a lot but I still think they cut corners they shouldn’t have. It should definitely have passenger pegs standard. The mono shock should have the exposed adjustable dial, it should have cruise control.....dollar for dollar the sport glide kills the fxlrs all day long, especially when you consider stripping it down it looks like a low rider...exposed adjustable shock, cruise control, abs , security, inverted front end, two up ready, same tank size, better stock fairing, plus detachable hard bags they sell for 3k separately.....Harley getting off on the fxlrs trend and raking it in $$$$ love you’re channel brother ✊✊
I go for Street Bob. All the way!
Was the speedo on low rider not working? Or was I hallucinating ?
I go for the Lowrider S after you said it is differently tuned, feels more fast and nible. Nothing worse a bike which doesn´t feel nible enough. It just take alot of fun away ;).
They're literally the same bike.
Absolutely love the street bob. Just hate the small tank on it. Wish it had a bigger tank
The crimson is great but you really can’t see the tank graphic. The contrast isn’t strong enough... For the Street Bob the black over orange is a bit too much Dukes of Hazards...
LR wins hands down except on that Streetbob tank paint. That black and orange graphic on the Streetbob is killer and would be magic if it was on the LR. Smaller tank is not practical, no twin discs (especially if you stage up the 114 and you actually ride more than to the local cafe ), no inverted forks, greater rake than the LR therefore steers slower, lower cornering clearance. The seating arrangement is irrelevant on 2 fronts, first the pussy-pad on the Streetbob is there for looks (in keeping with the bobber style) and to give someone a ride around the block or to the local coffee shop and second, just about most will swap the stock seats on both models. And if the Streetbob has tubes in the tyres??, then that's another negative. What's odd to me is that HD went for the orange and black racing style logo and put it on the bobber instead of on it's truly performance LR model. Either way, both models have their place and are appealing.
The silver was Bad Ass...should have kept it, but yes, the Street Bob will be the big seller this yr.
I think the price of the lower rider needs cruise control as standard, to keep the value above the street bob
Especially since the Dyna LRS had cruise.
💯
Wow , I just bought my 2020 street bob 4 months ago , and I coulda had this if I waited , wtf
For me it’s not just the 114, it’s those tank graphics!! The #1 is my absolute favorite Harley emblem and the way they did it on the tank is just awesome!! Then the rear pillion and rear pegs, oh yeah! I really, really, want this bike!
Of course, the low rider s is a much more substantial bike! I’m pretty much a novice but I can see right away where that extra 4K is going! Just look at the front end of the two bikes. I’ll venture to say that the LRS is better handling bike as well. The street bob almost reminds me of a super sportster. The front end of both are very similar.
"Super sportster" lol Harley should patented that.
How they all still don't come with cruise control still blows my mind.
Same here makes no sense how the Dyna had it and then they took it off on the fxlrs
Should have ABS standard imo.
@@Axl_colts i bought a 2018 bonneville because it's good for around town and on highway. dual disc, riding modes, heted grips, traction control, i think LED lights somewhere and all for less than 11k. Indian also gives you plenty for the money. I like the look of that bike but not much for your money
I’ve got the 22 street Bob.. looks exactly like that.. same tank color…. It brakes excellent… anyone who thinks you need the dual disk… idk,,, sure it’s would be better.. but it’s not needed… not at all… I can be doing 70. Approaching a traffic light and it turns yellow and I make the decision to try and make it before red.. I might do that.. but I could be In the same spot and try and stop.. no problem.. I’m actually very impressed with the brakes.. you just have to pay attention..right? Be on top of your game.. no distractions…. You can use engine brake as you downshift in combination with both rear and front brake.. and then come to a complete stop using the rear brake as the final brake.. every time .. the street Bob is a great bike… it rides awesome. It’s got power.. it will throw you off the back if you aren’t careful
with all this power how you gonna stop LOL
Beautiful bike! This color is amazing!! ❤️
Can you and Jerry help with the fact the heritage is now in the “ touring “ category on the website. Did they change the chassis on that bike? It has been on the softail chassis hasn’t it?
Still a Softail (Softail post 2018 chassis) but in the touring line due to the 114 engine, "big" saddlebags, wind protection, cruise control... and premium price (way above 20k...)
Not a fan of those tiny gauges on the risers.can barely see them
The digital gauge is very bright and easy to see in both daytime and nighttime. It’s a great add to keep this bike looking clean.
@@brentbandy3566 I’ll take my old gauges any day

Kinda bummed. I love the engine upgrade but can't stand the paint and graphic. The orange on black is too much in particular but a lot of people love it. Same with the colours. They're too polarizing. You either like it or hate it. The green is just bloody aweful. The Orange is cool but again some will hate it. I wouldn't buy it. Does Harley have something against blue and metallics? We're painting bikes with home interior colours now? The colours the last 3-4 years have been lame.
2022 has blue
I always hated the full fender so that's a sweet upgrade , though the 3gal tank ruins it for me
true true. That 114 upgrade should've warranted the 5 Gal upgrade. I'd have to look at another bike or consider the expen$e of swapping out the tank for a 5 Gal with color matching.
@@scottiescott9297 just get it in black then snag a low rider s tank in black, that'll be the cheapest option
@@BikesBeardsAndBrews Agreed. I like the combo of the mini apes and the 5 G tank. My dilemma is choosing between the Softail slim (add mini apes) v FXBB (swap out tank). With the slim, I also get the floorboards with forward-ish controls, fat front tire. With the FXBB I get the classic look and better flickability. I'll have to ride them both and see. But my wallet agrees with you. I likely get the FXBB in black and swap out the tank.
The engines love the cold air.
Have a 3020 a street Bob. Love it. The gauges are great. Same place as my KTM 450EXC, so no adjustments for me. Since I have nerve and joint issues, the tank is no problem. I need to stop and stretch anyway. The seat sucks, only way to say it. First upgrade I did was a Mustang solo touring seat with backrest. Great all day riding. Like the 2020 better just because I wanted a specific color, river rock gray.
3020? I sincerely doubt your bike from the future will look like this Street Bob...
@@jsprite123 2020, 😂
For me I love the street bob...but that dam tank size hurts....at least a 4.5 gallon would be great
Stage 2 equals more gas and more stops with that tank.
The seat is not that bad if you soften the shock, most people don't soften the tail shock under the seat but it makes a huge difference. I ride for hours on end so am replacing my seat but for most it isn't bad.
“That beautiful crimson........” 😂
That shit looks ugly asf i cant believe the streetBob looks different now. I think people should start to forget about motorcycles since electronic vehicles are the future and the future is now
The bike is beautiful bro maybe it's just not your style no need to be rude
I can't wait to ride one of those Street Bobs. I wasn't about it at first but the more I look at it the more I like it. Empire Harley is having an event in March, but I may have to jump over to Jersey before that just to get on one.
The tank on the Street Bob is a deal maker on its own. The Low Rider S has some great gear like a 5 gallon tank, decent gauges, twin discs, better seat. Another favourite of mine is the Sportglide for 21 that comes in a venom green for an extra $1,500.. Big heavy bikes like these need twin discs with ABS for my liking, especially if you add a Stage 3/4 kit/ cam .
Super cool bad ass bikes!
Midnight Crimson. Great color, but I'd go with black on the FXLRS, and Deadwood Green on the FXBBS 114.
Riding in 28deg weather.. u guys r beasts lol
I dont know what are they thinking. Its not all about power its all about balance. still 3.2 gallon tank, small headlight not a fan on those forks. Im a biased as i owned 2020 Softail Slim yeah!
I wanted to upgrade from the sportster to the street bob. But that 3 gallon tank is a deal breaker for me. I didnt want a touring bike either bc they are all too big for me. So the only bike left that I like from HD is the Low Rider S. Its more expensive but it just means a few more months of saving.
Dude! I’m from north jersey too! Just copped this bike a few days ago. I’m a beginner as well great review. Just gotta learn how to ride now lol
the crimson color is sick looking. I was just at the dealership in long branch last week and looked at it and fell in love. Hopefully gonna purchase it by the beginning of May if all goes well
The fully orange one works for me, too. I do kind of worry that the HD sound is no different than the Japanese cruisers....not sure.
From the rear it look very slim, maybe a sissybar or bags could help. Change to a fatter Tyre is not the easiest diy-way.
Nice video!! Could you do a ride/review of the 2021 Softail Slim and the FatBoy 114? Thanks.
Tach and speedo on the tank, front forks are an upgrade on the low rider S I think ?, a real seat., gallons? Is rear shock different, the shock on the heritage is super soft, too soft like pudding.
Low rider speedo isn't working?
9:23 that dodge ram that goes past you at 100mph when you are doing like 50! How many times have I seen that lol
streetbob needs foward controls a higher seat and a 180 tire or 200 tire
Loved that graphic at first look. But when I looked cloder I notice the bottom is mising compared to the traditional HD Number 1. Know it just looks funny. Dam my BOCD! You forgot to mention the steeper rake on the front forks, haha you till didn't mention that there Upside Down rather the conventional too. But then iirc you did ay you wanted to paint the silver part on yours, in a previous video, love to see that. ;)
I mentioned the inverted forks
Love the bike but not the gators. 114 should be in all bikes, ditch the 107
Still like the Dynas and TC better
Bike looks awesome man. Wanted to know what size these handle bars are?
So there's no difference between the S and cheapest bike in the lineup lol
Don't like the orange on street bob. Low rider S all the way
Would street bob be a good beginner's bike or? Tnx!
The midnight crimson is sweet!
I'm torn Bro... hard to decide! My pros for the LowRider S: The 5 Gal tank, dual disc breaks, standard ABS, mini faring. Pros for the Street Bob: The overall classic style, the Mini Apes and the price point. My wallet leans towards the FXBB. I love the vivid black with the graphic. In a perfect world, I'd love to have the FXBB 114 with a 5 Gal tank mod, forwards, a saddlemen step-up, slightly thicker mini apes, pipes and white walls. That midnight crimson is nice tho. Great video; as always. Thanks again.
really like the color on the 2021. make me wanna get one.
im 6" 2" would i fit on this bike
TFT color dash would be nice.
how tall is your freind on the streetbob?
6’3”
Im going the low rider s no question
I’m liking the green street bob
Test ride a Trike
HE NEEDS A STREET GLIDE SPECIAL!!
Lowride s look like sea horses
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Saw the Iron 883 at the nearby Evel Kneivel Museum and loved it. But after further snooping it will be Street Bob or the Forty Eight. You bike is nice too though!
Dude hands down without a doubt Street Bob over the 48. Literally double the size engine in the SB vs the 48
@@thedakotahurley thanks and I am down for it.
I have a 2016 black 48 with upgrades! If i get a bigger bike will a a street bob! I'm 5'5 lol
👌🏽
Dope ass bike
Great video
You forgot to mention inverted front forks on lowrider lending to better handling!
I mentioned that in the video you must not have watched it the whole thing
I did but I was getting ready for work lol
Keep up the good work ur knowledge of HD had gotten so much better and the quality of vids. We appreciate as subs
Is the speedometer dead on that LRS?
I’m a Dyna guy all the way when it comes to the street Bob. I loved my old Dyna was sad to see it go. The New one doesn’t appeal to me I’m afraid, only the new tank graphics are cool 😎

Old bullet (RE 350cc) hills ride
I think you forgot to mention the upside down forks on the Low Rider S.
He does at 16:04
sb looked so bad ass, now it looks like a joke, with that gator stuff on forks and new design....
