I like how you can see tears on Alastor which shows that he really does care about Vox (possibly even having feelings for him) and hated the fact that he changed and hated the fact that he had to leave him.
Okay.. this is honestly my theory for Radiosilence. (In a nutshell and from alastors POV) If it was not portrayed well in the video I’ll explain what I was trying to tell. So my theory goes that vox and Alastor were very close friends and then vox slowly started to change. Alastor hates change (my head canon (THAT I WILL STAY WITH UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE!)) and when he started seeing his best friend change he was afraid that vox would leave him. Which Vox does, moving on to more ‘modern’ people and technology. Then vox comes back to Alastor offering him a chance to work together again. Alastor does not accept. *FOR TWO REASONS.* #1 he hates the fact that vox has changed and he wishes vox could stay his old self #2 he thinks vox will leave him again and he can’t let himself feel that hurt ever again
