  • In this Short, I’ll show you how to receive weather satellite images from the American NOAA weather satellites yourself. 📡✨
What You Need: A simple antenna, like the V-Dipole shown here, and a Software Defined Receiver. Position the antenna to have a clear view of the sky. Open SDRSharp and set the frequency to 137.62 MHz - that's the frequency of NOAA 15. The free software WXtoIMG is used to decode the received signals and to turn them into stunning weather images. Don’t worry if the images look distorted at first - the software will correct them for you!
It’s that easy to receive weather satellite images directly from space! 🚀🌤️
