Hi Kamondi! This is a great question! Yes you can skip some of the bosses. The only ones you have to kill is the ones that open doors. I know you have to kill the first boss (can't remember his name), General Wurlord, skip the rest til Soul Ripper. You have to kill Soul Ripper to get to the Squid boss. Hope that helps!
