@@eikenbbq9023 Thanks for the reply. I just bought a Oklahoma Joe and have done two cooks on it so far. I need to invest in a meat probe. I assume the temps on the smoker run hotter than the temp gauge that came with the unit show?
This is just the Bronco. On the grate I can fit 3 racks. I picked up a weber kettle grate as well, this allows me to cook on different levels with both grates, will hold around 6 racks with that setup.
@@eikenbbq9023 Ok great! Debating between this one and the pro. Cooking just for the family, 3 racks if that mostly. I appreciate the reply. New subscriber. Looking forward to more of your videos.
7 hours? lol. After the first three hours, it was just a little bit here and another 15-20 minutes. lol
All that creosote flaking off when you put them on the grill. Not good!
The black spots? That is the blood cooking out. You can see them start to form when I let the ribs sweat after applying the rub.
@@eikenbbq9023he's talking about your dirty grill. Clean that thing bro
When u put that sauce on the first time and I heard it drip on the hot coals and that beautiful red sheen my mouth started watering
Talk about meat sweats! Got a good little bit of Christmas money so the saving for the bronco has begun.
Awesome, you're going to really enjoy it man!
How much of a difference is there between your temp probe and the one that comes with the smoker?
I'd say about 15-20 degrees

Yes, it was never really enough to affect my cooks but I prefer the certainty of a probe.
Hey man, great video. Interested in getting the bronco myself. Is this the 18 or 22 inch version? Thanks!
Thanks, it's an awesome pit. This is the 18 inch model.
I’m watching this at midnight. Buying a Bronco first thing tomorrow morning!
You won't be disappointed! I use the Bronco about twice as much as my other pits, it's easy to use and produces great results.
Great insight on this grill. Is the just the bronco or bronco pro? How many racks of baby backs can you fit on grate? Thanks, I appreciate you!
