It is for accessibility. When you are using screen reader, the contents of web page will be read by the screen reader. For other buttons, we have a text so it will read "button" and then the text of the button. But in this specific button, there is no text so screen reader will only say that "button". Because of this, a person relying on a screen reader will not understand what is this button for. Using the aria-label, screen reader will read "button" and then the aria-label.
I like the fact that you are always adding the aria-label for accessibility! That shows how disciplined you are. Kudos for the best channel on react.
