Excited to see Lady H's progress - she is an actual new player and thus the most interesting to me because she's experiencing the process from the start. Hope she starts to find it a bit less daunting and isn't too worried about competing with people who do it every day :)

Same, I'm hoping she gets beginner's luck, pulls a couple Legos... And smokes the match. If there is any way plarium can throw a little extra RNG luck her way, just to see egg on the face of the CC's, would be priceless.
When I first started playing i put resources into a bunch of champs I never used again. If I started again I'd be leagues ahead of what I initially did. So it is interesting to se what lady H is doing.

Imagine a feast being given to new players so they can almost immediately 6* their starter champ or somebody else they pull. That’d be an insane catch-up mechanic!

Bad idea, you dont want them to steamroll all earlygame content day 1, they will literally learn nothing and will not be requied to experiment with anything
@michiel ankersmit you can do that already if you spend like 100 dollars first day. Grind didn't stop after first 6 star it's just start with it. Casual player make first 6 star after 15 days this is really bad conception.
@@michielankersmit8656 one 6* champ would help new players breeze through most of campaign and early stages of dungeons, neither of which really help introduce team synergy or mechanics, it’s all just brute force. But there’s so much content in the game now that getting past the early content quickly still leaves a ton of content to play through and especially the more fun parts of the game. Nobody genuinely enjoys campaign

Love how outlaw monk is still great if u don’t have kael…some things never change even in the 3 years I’m playing lol super quick tip if anyone pulls a mystic hand, don’t feed, get him to 50 (he can be food later) but he is super clutch for stealing the big shield in magic keep…helped me progress in there a great deal

After 15 Minutes of playing I got my first ancient shard, opened it and got Duchess. Best start I ever had. Today I opened another 4 shards and got Nobel. I don't know how good he is but hey, I got two legendarys in the first 24h

I just started my second account about 2 months ago so I passed on this challenge, but it’s so fun to follow all the creators around and watch the progress. It’s Raid’s version of Hermitcraft and I am HERE FOR IT!

I did one of these last year and invested the time and energy into maxing out Chonuru off the rip, masteries ascensions books six star and the starter lifesteal gear. Absolute carry through early dungeons (she can solo most of them relatively quickly cause of her cooldown reset), arena, and a 10 sec 12-3 brutal farmer. Even as you replace her in every dungeon team and in the arena and clan boss as you progress, you'll still keep her as your campaign farmer forever.
I wasn't going to do this, but then I played with the spinners on your page and rolled Kael plus Deacon...so I'm going for it. Like lady h the first try I forgot to get the promo code champion, and I hit level eight before remembering, and then I wasn't able to get it because it said for new players only... Do'h!!! So I restarted a new account. I suspect lady H and Ii are probably neck-and-neck at the moment. I'm rooting for her by the way! Newbies for the win!!!

This is the tutelage that younger players need from a F2P series. Plus it was entertaining. A mastered Elhain and a leveled Monk will surely bring you more W's on Hard and maybe Brutal, too.
Great series HH. I wish I had focused on Missions earlier in the game. Just hit level 70, day 158 and only 33/60 on part 4 of the progress missions.
Awesome content. I still have so many questions about stuff you seem to have skipped in this tutorial series:
1. How do you get so much Silver to level gear to level 12 or 16? It seems to cost millions to get gear to 16.
2. How do you decide which rares to keep vs which to food?
3. Are you doing Faction Wars? I have kept a ton of 30's and 40's to have full teams in Faction Wars. I currently have six "good / non-food" level 50's, but no 60's yet.
4. When/how do you spend your XP brews? To level your "good champions" only or do you also use them to speed up leveling food champions?
Man it is so much fun watching an account from fresh, especially someone that knows the game inside out. I cant dedicate the time to a second account, my current end game account takes up too much of my day as it is.

HH, Hyria can be good early clan boss.. she got poison and ally attack too.. really good
Hyria is actually decent early game. Poisons and ally attack help in early CB and dragon.

Great info as long as you do any research prior to playing. I clicked like mad in my beginning and luckily chose Kael without understanding ANYTHING. Hardest part is making sure to focus on leveling up one champ at a time. Utilize your resources.

I feel so far behind! I didn't even know about the Djamarsa thing. That's a real eye opener. At least I got my Kael to 5-star within the first 24 hours, but even completing normal campaign and 800 gems are still out of reach...

Pulled Elva Autumnborn on my 3rd shard. Thank you 2x ! Don't even have her on my main (boycotted the 20 yellow shard event) and this competition is over.
All of these events at the same time are so exciting but I just don't have enough resources to do them all
Question about the free to play. Assuming theirs hero paths for the remaining 3 starter champions. Will those playing be excluded from taking the blessings or surely it puts all the Elhain players at a disadvantage
Made my start yesterday and managed to pull a Zavia from Ancients today. Her paired with Kael as my starter is really going to help me push through a lot of content. Loving to see the progress so far HH :D
i had the same problem with deacon. he doesn't get hte extra turn on the a3 til hes ascended to level 3... i spent the time grinding pots but i didn't like it. put me behind on getting elhain to 50
In regards to 4:50 I'm a newish player also and my first 6* was a pain , I also fed a bunch of good champions without knowing and I delayed my progress by a lot. Thanks to HH I now have a place to look on before feeding my champions and preparing my foods.
Missions and Challenges are enough to get your ascension for your first epic. Use Skinner for Magic, Rocktooth for Spirit, and Bandit for Force. The tough one is void. I grind for spirithost, but you just want to keep a lookout for a cleanser. That will allow you clear past stage 7 in all potion dungeons day 1.
LOVE the series! btw, if you were around level 20, how could you tell if you had a chance of wining an Classic Arena battle? I hope to see a 3rd season next year.
I started a ftp along with you and pulled a Roric Wyrmbane on my 2nd Ancient shard!!!!!!
F2P shard pulls are so much more exciting. Was rooting for any good champion (not just legendary). Among the rares: Frozen Banshee, Apothecary, Soulbound Bowyer and a cheeky Kael would be awesome.
On that note, are you allowed to use other starter champions if you happen to pull them from shards?

Life steal on elhain was my go to when I started.
everytime i make a throwaway, i try to get to the sacred at least on missions within the first few days and if possible try and get through some of the potion keeps missions before they all close after the first week.
It is possible, i've done it maybe twice where Ive got to the end of brutal within 24 hours (not 3*, your other champs wont be able to survive). But your first ancients need to be really lucky, or very unlucky (get a bunch of bad epics to feed to kael straightaway to make him 5 star), by that point with the 300 gem reward, you should have him 5* fully masteried, he can tear through brutal and get the lifesteal gear early to fill the void till the daily reward ones come in. Get the artifact challenges done as early as possible and then you should have enough energy to blitz hard + brutal no problem, i tend to have the problem i have to remove the 2nd champ to have kael 3* it on his own haha.
Wish theyd rework the quests, theres a mission to get 3 star clan activity, and then a few down the line there is a demon lord 500k damage, which is a bit annoying when youre trying to get through them quickly, 100 gems is an annoying investment just for a demon lord key. all they have to do is switch them and then you could do the first set of missions AND have the gems to mastery.
Started with worst possible chemps Galek + Chonoru. Pulled Bad El and Gorgo out of 5 AS. FTP broken in less then 24h xD

do they ever do a second event for the fragment champs. Or is it just impossible to get it again if u dont get it now?
They don't do it again, but if you get above 50 fragments there are fragment packs
They sometimes offer the remaining fragments you need in the shop for real world money, but otherwise it is impossible to complete it if you dont do it in these weeks of the fusion
No they never do any fusion again. They only offer you ways to buy fragments.

My first 24hrs were spent 3staring hard campaingn to get the lego shard to pull during the lego 2x new players get, ended up with an epic out of it though
I already play two level 100 accounts full time and working hard on the Pythion fragment event on both accounts right now while also working a part time job so I had to pass on this opportunity as much as I would love to be competing against you guys! I hope Lady H pulls some Legos and wrecks all the CC's lol. 😆
First clanboss was just over a mil 2 keys, rather surprised me. Leaving the missions for now, grinding gear. When power outages allow.

For FTP long haul, isn't gem mine worth it over masteries? cus Like my starter farmed 12-3 brutal without masteries just fine lol. I did get the first two points into offense by farming early Mino though.

i am so badly interested how lady H is progressing. it is sometimes eyeopening how a game you self know very well feels and plays to a fresh noob. pls update us on how she tackel things in raid :D hopefully she gets not to much frustrated and keeps going

The Demon Lord mission might be easier than it sounds cuz I'm certain it tracks across multiple runs, it's not a single run mission if I recall correctly

Yesterday I pulled 20 ancient shards for the 5 fragment on my main and got 0 epics. The 2x doesn't seem to be turned on for me

Elhain is best starter by mine oppinion: She is pure damage so you don't bother with ACC or anything else, just pump her from start to nuke. She has two AoEs and double A1, it is straight damage. Only downside is that she is not good as Kael for CB (but Kael is not any more champ you would drag along to higher levels of CB, so for easy and normal, Elhain is equally good), and she need side support for debufs and bufs...
Kael as a starter is great until you pull Frozen Banshee - after that Kael goes for a one way trip to the vault if it wasn't for Faction Wars. Elhain and Athel don't have that risk, and both have interesting implications for Clan Boss; Athel has the A1 Weaken and Elhain's A1 has this odd thing that gives it the chance to trigger Warmaster twice; there are not many abilities in the game that do that. (I have heard Fayne's A1 is another, but I can't confirm that.)
@Aasgier idk bout that. I have banshee maxed for CB and still use Kael in most dungeons instead of her. I can only bring 5 dudes into dungeons doncha'know
@@seanforbes1034 For me Kael actively was a liability at times because his A3 sometimes just was like "nope, no poisons" despite him having 300+ accuracy. Frozen Banshee made the runs slower but also basically guaranteed to work as long as she wasn't wrong affinity, which I appreciated because I was (and am) often AFK when playing Raid so success rate is far more important than speed for me.
Eventually I switched to Rowan for Dragon 25 because she's Void and was the only thing I had available. Far from the best option - and definitely not the fastest - but it works at least until I switch to a solo champion, which I do want to do.

I think the main thing people overlook is that having 2 AoEs makes clearing campaign soo much easier. She can A3, A2, A1, then A2 again. Once your A2 can knock out all the enemies in a stage, it's hard to lose, whereas both Athel and Kael spend more turns waiting for their big AoE to come back during which time they're getting hit by 3-4 enemies. Then again, I made all my referrals using the link for Juliana, so I don't actually need Kael for CB.
I am on day 54 of my new ftp. Since this is my 6th account I might have used up all the promo codes. none of them worked and some stated it was for new players. I tried keeping my power lvl low for better match ups for arena but ended up opening a bunch of shards to get a all the rewards and win a tournament. I ended up pulling Ghostborn, hoskarul, and Chonoru which drastically inflated my player power. Elhain with spirithost in the crappy shield set 3 starred Felwin's gate on hard.
I put my early game Monk in the first early game 3 star Relentless set I got... more chances to get that poison.
I cannot get the referal to work with bluestacks or anything else, i am able to use the link in chrome in bluestacks but no matter what i do i cant get it to link to my account. It worked fine with my main, but i need that champ more with the alt

Very low spender, pulled 10 ancients shards, got 2 trash rares, and Rotos. Great start to the fusion.
I'm looking for hidden gems in the early game, and I think commons might be underrated. If you need a single target debuff, there is a common with it that has a surprisingly good chance of landing it on their A1.
Their stats are just really, really bad. Now there's some uncommons that can justify their place on a Faction Wars team quite deep into that, and I'm not talking Armiger that is still useful later in the game.

Warpriest makes three-starring a lot easier.

Equipping attack type champions with attack % gear isn't a useless mission. It's the only thing in the game that hints towards don't use flat stat gear

Hyria is probably a better choice than Perforator, ally attack and poisons
I did good on my pulls. 30 ancients got me my 3rd Robar and mi first King Gallcobar.
Hyria is pretty awesome, she was instrumental in helping progress through Fire Knight with that Ally Attack. Albeit it's only like 2 random teammates but I slapped her in my fastest Relentless and it helped a ton
