This theme is so great. The other ending themes are telling a story. This one is basically saying "If I'm going going to go out, lets just jam until the end."
You have to remember that Carla isn't an Augmented Human. While there are some freaks of nature like Freud who can keep up with Augmented Humans even without augmentations, most normal Humans just have inferior reflexes. Using missiles is a good way to make up for the ability gap.
Plenty of the RLF AC pilots don't have augmentations either and they're capable pilots. Walter doesn't have augmentations with, vocally despising them form a moral standpoint, and even Allmind commends him for his skills as an AC pilot. Walter was fighting Allmind copies of the Vespers' AC crew and was holding his own until Iguazu finished him off. Augmentations give AC pilots a definite edge, but it's not a necessity. I think Carla solely using missiles is a nod to RaD's unorthodox approach to weapons and AC design.
@@Saru-yr3qk The RLF doesn't have any particularly noteworthy pilots except for Rusty, Middle Flatwell, and Father Dolmayan. Of them, Rusty is Augmented, while Flatwell is unknown but did spend time as a double agent working in the corporations (and so being Augmented wouldn't be surprising). Father Dolmayan is the real outlier there being likely unaugmented but a highly skilled pilot. Walter is definitely augmented in the Liberator route, likely having been subjected to augmentation procedures as a result of Arquebus' reeducation: only Augmented Humans using old-gen technology are able to perceive Coral intelligences in the way 621 and Iguazu do. It's not explicit in the Release route, but given that he still pilots HAL 826, Arquebus were the ones who uncovered it and the other C-Weapons, and ALLMIND said that she would take care of Walter, it's probably a safe bet that he was still captured by Arquebus and just sprung by Carla. Ultimately Augmentation surgery makes you a superior pilot: if it didn't, then the corporations wouldn't expend the exorbitant amounts of money to pay for it and use almost exclusively Augmented pilots in their AC teams.
Unironically, you kind of know that "Cinder" Carla is one of the most genuine characters in the game, despite her schemes and kind off trying to kill you at first. This is why this boss fight hits hard.
I’ll be honest, and I know this is gonna sound weird, but I kind of love that Carla initially tries to kill us. The whole world of Armored Core VI is full of people fighting each other like dogs, but it’s the people who put aside their grudges who ultimately have a chance to come out on top. Balam and Arquebus are bitter rivals until they need to become war buddies to take out the Ice Worm, and then it’s back to bitter rivals like nothing happened. On the other hand, one of your earliest run-ins with Rusty is him following orders to leave you for dead, only for you to become much closer after the fact, just like with Carla. And in both these cases, you can absolutely betray their trust and make them wish they finished you off from the start, but when you work together, it feels like you emerge with a partnership that is stronger than if things had started off on friendly terms. Maintaining a positive dynamic with someone perpetually is one thing, but being able to shift from attempting to kill each other to fighting to save each other’s lives is the sort of open-mindedness we need as a people. That’s the type of message that will end conflicts that have burned on endlessly. The world of AC VI isn’t all about friendship and rainbows, but it really emphasizes just how much you can control your own destiny through your decisions, and that feels like hope in my book.
This one is the hardest battle I've faced in the game. Sure, maybe it's because I built a lightweight AC that only aims to rush the enemy's face, but Carla and Chatty's missiles sure pounded me good.
@@mambiwhoknows2501 Me, I built the lightest AC possible with 4 shotguns. The only exception was the arms with 160 firearm specialization (for faster lock). It's great and all, like a deadly assassin, but that build is quite weak against prolonged attacks like missiles. Worse, there were two ACs I had to kill, not one. It was a rush to see who die first, me or those two. And not to mention Chatty's heavy gun is also deadly in close range, too.
I agree this fight is completely insane. There are lots of hard fights in this game but this is the only one I felt was truly unfair and honestly a load of bullsh******t. It honestly feels like you are constantly being tracked by missiles and it''s just a nightmare, I felt so relieved when I finally beat it.
Whats really touching is that Chatty sort of builds a personality despite being an Ai if you kill Carla first. Killing Chatty first shows how lonely Carla was that an ai was basically her only company besides Walter being the only surviving members of previous events. I say they really put all these elements together very well in the music
I don’t wanna kill chatty and i don’t wanna kill Carla…neither do I want Walter to die…Rusty also doesn’t deserve to die..man I just wanted an ending where I get to live with the friends we made along the way…wrong occupation, wrong planet though I guess :/
one thing i like to think about this music, is that its partially inspired by Muffet's theme from undertale, Spider Dance. It does make sense considering that both use spiders, and have similar connections.

I like to think that since Carla specialty is to make weapon rather than using them, she use all Missile launcher so that she doesnt have to aim...

@@Ring_student_yin_sang There's not really any reason to think Rokumonsen is anyone particularly special. No one really talks about him.

I enjoy this theme. The classical instrumentation mixed with synth is like looking into Carla and chatty’s headspace
I love the piano in this.

I think thats probably the best way to beat them. I used a medium/light build with twin machineguns.

Innocent Chatty's first emotions is anger after you kill Carla 😢
Finally, I can Groove to this, thank you!
Never had time to appreciate the music first time playing. I was too busy dodging the endless barrage of missiles.
I like the Roulette esque sound to this piece of the OST.

I would trade 10.000 fucking Snails to have that crew back!
I would kill 10,000 snails for free (assuming you talking about snailtus) cause his death scream is funny
