Good demo matey, straight forward and to the point. Just bought one recently... it works great and does exactly what it says on the tin (Plastic box) astonishing value for money and the plastic case is a kind of bakelite... looks pretty sturdy to me, but I don't kick my equipment all over the stage.!
I hate piezo pickups. I took that thing out and never looked back. Cost me hundreds to have it installed. Had to find an exact dowel (coffee stirrer at Hyatt) to fill the hole needed to install that curse, in order to get the old sound back. Just about anything is better than a under saddle.
Just watched your vlog now with Ted ...... GREAT stuff .... always very informative and loads of information anin one handy place ...... Thanks for filming and sharing M8ty.... M&MX ❤ / Mark T X ♥
Not sure why you would set this up after Your singer pedal, the main point of this pedal is impedance matching to a piezo, but as your guitar has a preamp in it, this is only acting as tone control. A little confused as to what pickup your Yamaha is using as a piezo is a transducer.
Useful video indeed. Thanks. I also smiled at your incredibly posh pronunciation of pee-jah-zo. i' reckon the word piezo has the most variable pronunciation in the whole of English/Italian/Muso-language.. Try saying it like Frankie Boyle or Taggart just for a laugh in future videos!
Clipping? I thought it was a fuzz pedal. An overdrive maybe. An acoustic screamer? Something was definitely amiss with the gain levels somewhere that's for sure. 🙂
I started messing around with recording myself, I uploaded it to youtube. I'm using an Alvarez rg260 acoustic, an M-Track Solo and Audacity. It sounds about how you would expect it to sound. Is this Behringer something I may want to consider? I'm trying to stay away from buying a mic, kids and a dog cause recording issues.
Aquest econòmic pedal té una gràcia tremenda: Un cop connectat a la PA, i ajustat pel tècnic de so, i gràcies a tenir el pedal al teu costat, encara tens el control de com vols sonar. Però primer has d'entrenar què fa cada knob.
Hmmmm. I cannot stand that "quack" sound either. Piezo pickups just don't work well in acoustic guitars, in my opinion. The Yamaha with the transducer pickup sounds way better, to my ears.
This pedal is horrible, I could not get a better sound out of it, after weeks of fiddling….I have quality guitars that don’t resound well to cheap pedals. All this pedal did was make my electric/acoustic guitar sound purely electric. Horrible

Thanks for this! I was getting distortion before I saw your settings.
No worries glad it helped
For no more than it costs, it does a nice job. I'd still prefer something with impulse responses, but that's the territory of $300 pedals.
I liked the looping technique a lot. Great!
good performance at the end, you convince me
Thank you very much for the review. Made my purchase decision easier. 😀👍
I did not like the sound of this pedal, but I liked your evaluation of it, thanks!
I appreciate that. Thank You
For such a cheap device it's got loads of tweak-ability... very cool !.

Hello there. One question. Do you plug your pre amp to an electric amplifier? or an acoustic one?
Awesome video, bud !
Awesome explaination as well !
Keep up the good job & wishing you all the best!
Thanks you bute
Anything that helps the awefol sound of a piezo is a good thing in my book! They really are the pickups of satan! 😂
Lol I agree
Thanks so much for this. Great demo. What other pedals do you use with your acoustic? If you don't mind me asking.
Hiya I don't use anything just the onboard reverb on the desk.

Do you think if you did use to 20dB cut you might get rid of the clipping?
Clipping?

Yes I think so, definitely!
Cool little pedal. Nice for the price! 👍
Sounded harsher with pedal, and it breaks up?

If not using a mic its worth a go
I would prefer something more of robust material for the housing and not plastic which may crack if someone step on it.
Great review, however I had a doubt... Is it possible to use both outputs simultaneously?
I will look at this and see
@@BrentHutchinson thanks man! I’ll wait 🥰
@@matheuscardoso5842 It is possible on the guitar driver. I use the DI out to the mixer and the output for a personal in ear monitor setup.

Without pedal sound is better
Mine is exactly the same in every way
but metal not plastic !!!!

Absolutely agree

Bay ringer? LOL!
Bay Riinger the man with an ugly pedal!!

Sorry, but sounds like a 5 dollar pedal. Lol
Blah blah blah blah......
You forgot blah 🤣
It sounds bad!
Your outro song sounds very much like the legendary, Paul Kelly's song, 'To Her Door'! ua-cam.com/video/P6FF3-SWwsE/v-deo.html
My cousin played keys in that band 😊
