Great job Frank. I’m an old Beatlemaniac. I wish I had listened to your music now. I became a fan 3 years ago. Can’t believe I hadn’t listened to your songs. You have the most gorgeous blue eyes, the color. You sing with your eyes.💙💙💙
Frank reminds me my grandfather who I never saw (he died from sarcoma before I was born). The same eyes, the same lips... I've never knew a grandfather care and love but when I listen to Frank's songs I feel warm and my grandpa who is believed to be a great man is here by me~
What a fabulous piece of singing, just beautiful. I was hoping I would really dislike it and blast Sinatra for even trying to sing a Beatles song and diminish it and "profane" it. Instead he took a great song and "made it better", maybe, but really enriched it.
some said that Frank said that was lennon/mcartney tune. But her he says that it is Geoge Harrison song. Never the less, beatiful song and lyrics, and great Frank
Erase the Beatles and this is Sinatra's song. He owns it. I was so fortunate to see him perform. There are only a handful of performers that are even close.

Jack is some imaginary person that Frank sang to frequently. There was no "Jack" in George's lyrics. In fact, Frank frequently added and changed words to songs; I guess it was "improvising". As much as I loved Frank's voice, I did not like that aspect of his style. And he did it more and more as he got older.
MissAstorDancer Jack was the name used in his songs because it worked with all of his music. And Jack was a lyric change that Harrison liked so he used it after he heard Sinatra sing it
I've been a great fan of Frank for many years and love nearly all of his recordings, but I'm sorry to say I find this one to be awful. Frank should have stuck with the standards from the Great American Songbook.
Okay I will be the little kid commenting on the king's new clothes. This is an unpleasing rendition. Frank's loose phrasing which is usually perfect for most of the songs where he uses it, is not right for this song--I think he even knows it isn't working during the song. He walks all over the melody. If anybody can pull off adding the bluesy "Jack" to a song he can, but here it is out of place with the strings.
Here...Frank was reading from a script.....when he first started doing the song live, he credited the song to Lennon-MaCartney....this is simply Sinatra 101...........
I agree BEATLES FOREVER and all that but feel proud that Frank covered it and said it was the best love song for 50 years. Proud of George. Its a bit dragging I 'll admit though..

How can one band have THREE songwriters of the standard of George, Paul and John. A gift from above.
I am sure the young George Harrison walking around the back streets of Liverpool could never imagine Frank Sinatra would cover one of his songs.

Hauntingly beautiful - well said Mr. Sinatra ❤
Two magical words,, Frank Sinatra.
The greatest the Beatles and Frank can't get any better

What an incredibly beautiful version of a piece of musical heaven.
What could be finer than Sinatra doing one of the Beatles greatest love songs?

¿Como es posible que tenga tanto poder en sus ojos?
some said that Frank said that was lennon/mcartney tune. But her he says that it is Geoge Harrison song. Never the less, beatiful song and lyrics, and great Frank
I’m fuckin tearing up for some reason
Yes, this makes me sad because he has said that this is his favorite song and I truly believe he is singing this to Ava Gardner who broke his heart.
@@kataysmith9581 Many times over the years FS dedicated this song to his wife, Barbara, during live performances.

Nelson Riddle's gift to Sinatra.
He announced it as a Lennon McCartny song for a while....I guess someone corrected him
Little while actually
-¡ Vaya vaya , este señor Frank , me sorprendio , parece que le gstaba hacer las cosas a su manera...

George Harrison wrote it not Frank so ask him.

+Skycave Actually the name "Jack" was used as a way to say "pal" so that's it
+Woopize That`s it.

Somehow I find his hair (piece?) distracting
