THIS WILL ANSWER YALL QUESTIONS:
Blood Sweat and Tears is the title track of their album WINGS and the album is based on the book "Damien" by Herman Hesse.
It's a story about youth losing innocence and the mv implies it like a temptation to lose innocence. The line RM said is an actual line from the book.
BTS albums are timely with how they "age" and during WINGS is when they were turning to Adults from clueless teens.
Moral? Basically shows the process of how you lose innocence when you enter adulthood and is showing the reality but thats why the following album is important because it will show the journey from losing innocence to finding themselves.
BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS is based on novel named DEMIAN by HERMAN HESSE.
Here's a bit of insight abt what MV is abt. Personally, I'll recommend u to watch Explanation video fr this MV as it's way complex. Well, let's start
The entire mv takes place in a world in between life and death. It’s a world where u hv to decide whether you choose good or evil path to walk after. And this all happens after Jin fully realised that he is dead. So after realising, he’s in the world in between life and death where he has to decide between good and evil. The difference between Jin, V, Jungkook and Rap Monster, Jhope, Jimin, Suga is that one group comes from the realm of death, while the other one comes from the realm of life, and they meet in the world between those two realms. In the last scene where Jin kisses the statue and V's wings got cut . It indicates that V was the one that is the evil and poisoned all other BTS members (the green liquid seen frequently in MV) and intentionally covers Jin's eyes so that he choose evil path instead of good. So that's why in the last scene Jin starts to break bc he is fallen to evil trap.

Blood Sweat and Tears is inspired from the book DEMIAN by Hermen Hesse.. it talks about temptation and falling into temptation losing your innocence and the aftermath of the same.. also BTS have this connected storyline going on called BTS UNIVERSE.. the MV hints that too..
The interlude RM speaks in between the MV is also a quote taken from the book Demian...!

It’s a song about temptation. A person, a boy (in BTS’ case) is caught in a relationship that’s bitter but too sweet to completely free himself. Everything is the partner’s. “My blood, sweat, and tears. My last dance too. Take it all,” And he allows it.
