- Born and raised in Texas, Sarah Jarosz started playing music at age 9 and writing songs at 16. At 18, she won her first Grammy Award, followed by three more across six albums. Now, she is about to embark on her biggest North American tour yet. From her album "Polaroid Lovers," here is Sarah Jarosz with "Jealous Moon."

Sarah has been on my radar for years, but her new music is really resonating with me. Love this!

@@DerrickMims. Early 2023, but Sarah was the standout. All three on stage;they all did about 5 of their own songs with the others filling in, and then they did another 4 or 5 covers that were more put together as a group. It was right after David Crosby passed, and they all had some kind of relationship with him that they talked about. It was very much a tribute, and they played at least one of his songs.

Never heard Sarah before, but glad I did today. She’s a talent and the song is great.
Listen to every album from her beginning. There is no weak record. She has won something like five Grammys so far, so long-term quality.
Let me add another recommendation, and look up her work with the band I'm with her. A

Jealous Moon by Sarah Jarosz is one of those songs you can't put down you just put it on repeat so powerful so fun and so much reflecting a songwriter that is going to offer up excellent music for the years ahead
Great songwriting! The talent of these musicians is pretty incredible. Listened to the Spotify version and I think this live version sounds just that much better! No smoke and mirrors here folks😁😁

Just an FYI for anyone at CBS Saturday Morning that might want to do any original reporting and breaking news - she got her first Grammy nomination at 18 but lost. She won her first Grammy 7 years later, in 2017.

There's a grand total of twelve notes on the chromatic scale. TWELVE. Everything sounds like everything else and nothing original exists under the sun
So very talented. Someone needs to teach to not try to swallow the mic; ir works just as well a foot back and we get a better view of her.
It’s a dynamic mic in this video. Watch her when she is using condenser mic in a studio. She addresses the mic accordingly. She’s a great musician. Under appreciated.

Yes, she does not need to swallow the mic meaning that we cannot see her face. Even 6” back is better; a foot back is that much better and performers will still be heard properly.
