Enclose the fire, making it a boiler, you can heat the hot tube and run the water through the cargo castle for heat with the addition of a few radiators.
That is really cool. Looks like something you'd see in Italy - maybe. Question: did you embed the LED Lighting into the skim coat of concrete? 2nd Question: what is that top pump (with the white pvc coming out in the top corner of the tub) used for? Really neat project! Looks like an awesome view also.
MrTallJohn I just threw a led light strip in the water, I want to mount it around the edge this spring. That other pump is an air blower, for making bubbles. It's not hooked up, it was kinda loud and annoying.
I tended a wood fueled swimming pool and it was labor intensive to say the least. Bossman couldn't or wouldn't understand why I couldn't get much else done.
Stefano Morandi yes, I was thinking about building a concrete/stone roof over the entire thing. With a fire place for the fire pit. But there's other projects that are more important.
Nice job on the heat exchanger! Betcha that exiting water is plenty hot. During the peek inside the gazebo you appeared to have three bags of what a looked like potato chips? I was wondering, is there something wrong with them, I mean, under what curcumstances would there be full bags of potato chips? Surely they should have been eaten? Are they for sale? Are you running a mini hillside bodega? I just don't understand....
Hi their love the video but one question. Do you have plans for this? I would be willing to purchase plans. Any recommendations to regulate the heat some way?
Like your videos do a lot of good work when you going to put out some new stuff I know this new stuff did nobody Shane but it's old stuff you know what I mean
Did you use a 5000 psi mix to keep it water tight, or did you use some type of sealant on the inside? Have you had any problems with seepage or cracking?
Connor Fasano I'm supposed how well that holds water. The blocks were sloppily laid in, no tape measure or level. They had big gaps between them, and I just did a coat of water proof concrete on the inside. It leaks a tiny drop. And only got a few cosmetic cracks. I want to do a nicer coating on the inside soon.
boo bear it depends on how the fire is, and the water flow, if it's a big fire and slow flow, it's very hot. It takes 1.5 hour to heat the tub to 100° in the summer, up to 4 hours in the winter.
@@AndrewCamaratabath filled with cold well water. Call it 70 degree aretsian bath in summer(100 degrees Tx). Wanna make it wood fired hot bath in winter. Have nightly rentals. Couldnt figure out how to send a pic
Andrew, could you upload video on how you created the wood grill heating system?
Your videos are great to watch, thank you for making them.
I support this
oh wow, i came back to this video to see how the tub was built. seeing Levi jumping around and the house when it was just a shop.
Exquisite taste in music bravo . Born Talent. Thank you.
Don't know why I never saw this video before, but that's really cool. Nice job Andrew.
very cool. I have watched most of you vids and learned a great deal. Thanks you Andrew
You are a very talented young man. Very nice !
Andrew Camarata! Love your ideas and work you do.
Thanks
Best diy fire hot tub iv seen yet
Its beautiful man. just gorgeous.
Wow Andrew....that’s super plush! Quite a project as it developed

good idea, I thought the same thing, although seeing the fire makes quite the show!
Chandelier and rubber duck. Nice touches.

Now that is cool!!! Rubber ducky included LOL! I need to make me one of these

In the tree on the other side of the road there is one of those party laser things.
Cool. Barbecue party in a hot tub ...

Awesome Hot Tub!
VERY creative!
There is a part 2 to this where a concrete roof gets built over top.
Paradise
it looks very nice project!
an open flame like that its inefficient as fuck ahah very cool to look at tho

That's awesome
Nice hot tub
so so sooooo cool
Work hard, Play harder.
👍👍👍
Just don’t get too close to the scalding hot waterfall ! I like it nonetheless. Why not use a wood burning snorkel stove ?
very very nice love it

I really love all your videos! I hope some day to have a similar setup. Good Luck Andrew

Would putting a giant radiator above a fire in a similar way like you did here possibly work?
So the water recycles around the fire ?
Yes
Would the same heater design work if you placed it under the fire and used the embers to heat the water?
Prob you never know for shure untill you try
im trying to figure out what the water runs through over the fire? is it home made? what did you make it out of?
with wood fired hot tubs , whats keeping them from getting to hot?
The size of the fire.
Amazed!
Wont those pipes burst in winter?? Also
Where is that Video he did on making a Concrete workbench??
I empty it in the winter.
@@AndrewCamarata Haha that makes sense! Thanks for the reply!! keep up the good work. Did you ever do a video on making those concrete workbenches??
Great idea but how do you regulate the water temperature?
With the size of the fire.
@@AndrewCamarata Thanks! Really enjoy all of your videos, I realize just how much work you put into all of them.
How will the concret hot tub get a job now?
Well done.
Thanks, there is another new video about this hot tub on my channel you should check out.
Andrew Camarata O.k. I will thanks.
i would make the firepit under the bath. would be more efficient i think
how hot does the water get coming out of the pipe?
boo bear it depends on how the fire is, and the water flow, if it's a big fire and slow flow, it's very hot.
It takes 1.5 hour to heat the tub to 100° in the summer, up to 4 hours in the winter.
Andrew Camarata that's a huge tub so it must be super hot for only 4 hours . Is it just a straight pipe through the fire?
boo bear well the water goes threw that radiator thing I made, I made it big with a lot of heat sinks on the bottom, so the water comes out very hot.
Andrew Camarata ok thanks I'd like to make one like this do you think maybe some time you could do a in depth video?
boo bear I could. You don't think there's enough shown in this video? It's a pretty simple design.
What do you do when winter hits?
I let the water out of it.
What are the glowing green rocks?
so i wondering what do u do if it freezes
How do you manage the temperature from getting too hot ?
The lights are on a gfi outlet ....right ?
By controlling the size of the fire. Yes the lights, TV, and pump are on GFCI breakers.
I guess this got dismantled when that upper road was bulldozed and dynamite by the cliff.
Can you advise on your pump assembly?
@@kevintaylor8832 it is a pump meant for a swimming pool or a hot tub.

@@AndrewCamaratathanks, helpful. And you have a filter too?
Yes, it has a pool filter. It first it first, but it’s needed, the water gets nasty.
TOGGA PARTY!
Party at your place
Chilaut...
my wench found this vid" really annoying"....................not sure why..........
was this your first time with a camera? I didn't see anything with that god awful movement...
Really think that was bad? I have a gimbal now, I guess I could re-film that.
I re filmed it. Check it out.
