Hi, Leslie! Quick question about the two assessments - at what point did you take each? For example, when you first purchased it, did you take the assessment first or do practice questions?

I passed in 60 questions! I used Uworld for questions and Hurst for content. For things I was unsure of I used Saunders. I did the pearson vue trick 1hr after testing and got the good popup. 48 hours later I found out I passed.
@Halfmoon Hill the rules changed during Covid for 60 minimum and 130 maximum. So actually not lies. Now per October 2020, the minimum is 75 and the max is 145.
Omg I am about to spend my last week studying turning off the tutor mode. I never thought about that for the creating the environment. Thank you for that tip.
NCLEX 2020 ,thank you Mr jayden. After 4 years of nursing, i have been challenged by the ultimate exam "NCLEX" as nursing student, i faced difficulties in acquiring my license and many took like 5 to 7 years after graduation trying to acquire this license. All these may be due the fact that we were using the wrong study material, study technic or resource persons. Thank God i met mr Jayden. and he helped on my 4th attempt to pass. Whatever the case I'm happy i passed my NCLEX exam and I'm inviting you to join me celebrate. For my similar help contact him +1 (559) 406-9819

Thank you for all the tips! I just found your channel this past weekend and have binged so many of your videos especially the NCLEX videos. I graduated last month and am starting to make my schedule to study. I have found your videos and they way you broke studying down so helpful. Right now my test date is in September but I plan to complete studying and hope an earlier opening becomes available. Most of the hospitals near me are on a hiring freeze or are flooded with experienced nurses and making it difficult to find an opening. I look forward to working in this field and working along side caring and compassionate nurses like you.
Thank you so much! I am so glad that they were helpful for you! Start early and stay consistent. Since you have extra time take breaks and days off so you don't get burnt out! My graduate residency got pushed back as well so I looked into home health in the meantime! I'm thinking about making a video on that as well because I know a lot of us are going through that. I also digitized my study plan and 30 day cram plan on my test shop if you're interested!
Great video Leslie!!, your videos are always so helpful. I wasn't using the resources tab before but now I will definitely use it. I am enjoying uworld, it is a useful source. Thank you for all your tips! 😊
I finally passed the NCLEX-RN exam. I’m so so overwhelmed with joy. I finally made it on my third trial. My first trial I used Uworld but no luck I further used Kaplan ,Saunders and Uworld still no luck. It was on my third attempt that my friend recommend me to work with this tutor Rachel Allen . We did 130 questions daily for 10 days gave me videos audios and many more.He has good writing material, so great for the test, questions and answers and audio materials that helped me pass. Do not be discouraged you can do it, thanks you very much hope you can help more be successful in the NCLEX exams. you have the key to this exams God bless you🙏🏼, feel free to contact him I promise him clients that if I passed I will and yes I passed!!!! if He could do this for me he can Do same for you so this is his contact please get to him on WhatsApp and celebrate success +15306182861
I have to say that Uworld was in fact very expensive but also very useful. The biggest advice that I would give is don't get discouraged like she said if you get alot of questions wrong you want this so that you know what topics to review, then you go back and brush up on some of these areas in like a comprehensive NCLEX book like ATI has or your textbook. Also the assessments are in NCLEX style if you buy the package with the assessments, which I strongly encourage. I only did 600 questions out of the 2100 Uworld questions and still passed I bought the 60 day package with 1 assessment. So it is a great tool. I would sell my left over questions, but these days people don't really trust anyone 😂. Otherwise good luck to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this, and Leslie def knows what she's talking about so good advice there too
I did my uworld assessment test today and got the same score as you! Although it's a good percentile, I still have a TON of doubt for the actual exam. I'm taking it this weekend and I know everyone has been saying the questions on NCLEX are super vague which is freaking me out. I feel sick to my stomach :(
YES! Stick to your gut when you are testing. That's what I told myself, my friend who was in my NCLEX vlog video with me and my friend who took hers today and did the pearson vue trick and got the good pop up! It is vague but stick to the basics. I thought of it more as a safety exam. What is going to kill you patient first. There were some things I never heard of so I never picked those answers!
Hi Leslie! Thanks for always posting such great content! :) Quick question: I've just started my final year of nursing school and was already looking into Uworld. That price point is NO joke! lol Do you think it would be beneficial to somebody currently in the program as we continue to go thru the curriculum? OR is it better to hold off and wait till graduation?
Thanks for this!! Did you do exams by body system like complete all the GI questions then move on to the next? Or did you do a little of everything? Congrats on passing btw!! 💕
I did a little of everything. I started with the subjects/topics I knew I would have trouble with and would probably be a big chunk of "important stuff" cardio, respiratory, endocrine! I really think you could do it either way but big question blocks I would divide into two days!
I PASSED MY NCLEX TEST. It wasn't easy making it through my the NCLEX after having written twice, but with the help of Dr Jayden, i successfully made it the third time . If interested then contact him through Whatsapp or text +1(559) 406-9819 NCLEX help ONLY.
I’m testing again for the second time in a couple of days, and I hope it’s my last. But I don’t know, I feel so unprepared when I’m doing these Uworld questions. I’m going to try some of your tips, such as turning off the tutor mode and see if it helps in these last days. I’ll definitely start using your affirmations too! Thanks for the video🙏🏾
Thank God I finally passed the NCLEX-RN exam's with the help of Mr. Kendrick. His an ATI, NCLEX solution guide,a member of the NCSBN department. The man has the key to getting you're License .I will recommend working with this tutor. He has good writing material, so great for the test, questions and answers and audio materials that helped me pass. Do not be discouraged you can do it, thanks you very much hope you can help more be successful in the NCLEX exams. you have the key to this exams God bless you🙏🏼, fell free to contact him I promise him clients after he did my job and if I pass I did so that's what am doing. 🤗🤗Whatsapp+1 (917)727-2674
Thank you so much! I hope that it was helpful for you! I did the 90 day to have two self assessments. I did the first self assessment when I was about 150 questions in and then the second self assessment when I had like 100 questions left ! I really liked seeing where I started so I could focus my studying and go from there! Let me know if you have any more questions! You can reach out here or on my Insta! instagram.com/lesliejackson.rn
Hi Leslie, I'v been watching your videos & tips especially the study plan is so helpful. I'm a retaker, I took NCLEX last year but I couldn't pass. I'll be taking it again this November. The last time I studied from saunders & UWORLD. I'll say UWORLD is helpful, but I couldn't complete all the questions on UWORLD. This time I'm planning on studying from Remar VT , UWORLD & Mark klemik audios. What are your thoughts?
Jazymine Latham you got this girl! Stay cam and say your affirmations ! I am smart , i am not anxious, I am more than capable of answering OB questions correctly, I am going to be a registered nurse !
So sad you failed the first time, but now you know how to better prepare! I shared another review course that’s uworld on my channel to help give different options to pass the NCLEX on the first try. Good luck!
@@thernlegacy6691 Thanks! It was really my fault. I didn't study as much as I did for the HESI exit exam because I thought it wasn't going to be so bad. I bought Uworld and already realize why I missed certain questions on the NCLEX. Thanks for your video, I'll check that out.

Your sheet where you wrote out all the body systems and the corresponding pages in the Saunders book, is that available in a shorter two week version on Etsy??🙏
Nurse Leslie I’m scheduled for aug 5th and so I have a short time. My confirmation said 60-130 questions and they will not include the NexGen problems. Anyways, I saw where you wrote out a study plan, with pg numbers and put it in sleeves, I was wondering if you had that for a two week version for me. I have uworld, the same 90 day plan and the same Saunders book. I rly like your plan

Yes! I think that it goes WAYYY in depth compared to the testing style of NCLEX but I think it all will help you get a better understanding of the general concepts that all nurses need to know (aka on NCLEX)! Does that make sense?
@@Lifeasleslieivy Thank you for your response! Ive just been getting consistent 40s on quizzes on Uworld and ive heard people say dont focus on the scores but on the rationales. Just wondering if Uworld was harder than NCLEX
@@ohmg5471 Uworld is Def harder being heavy on getting you to know the info and while NCLEX is it's own kind of hard as she said it is a lot more vague and makes you process and think more (critically think) but you should gradually get better as you learn more through the rationales. I was in the same spot as you hitting constant high 40s then eventually high 50s, until finally 642 practice questions in I was in the low 60s which I heard is where you should be to have a good chance of passing.

Wait wthhhh I take my exam this week and I never knew about that resources button lmao always thought it wasn’t related to the questions. Anyways!! How different did you find the questions on uworld vs. actual nclex
Girl yes!!!! So the actually nclex questions seem wayy more vague. I talked about it In a few of my other videos but I felt like UWorld had all of the critical thinking there for you . as opposed to NCLEX I feel like you had to go through and do all that critical thinking in your head because the questions didnt really give you that much information
Uworld is definitely harder I don’t think nclex was this hard. But hey I have two friends who used UWORLD AND FAILED BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO GIVE YOU 💁🏾♀️
Helllo sugars I finally did it thanks to Mr Walters who helped after so many attempts I got my license after 10 attempts I won’t disclose much but if you feel you need help contact Mr Walters at +1(484)380-5538

Hello! How many questions did you set your uworld to generate per test? Some people generate 50-75 per test, but others have been doing 10-15 at a time. I just started my uworld subscription and I've only done three blocks of 10 questions in adult cardiovascular, but I'm indecisive on how to proceed through the subject/system, or how many at a time, because I dont want to "waste" the questions...
Hi! I started with 10-15 when I was warming up, especially if I felt tired when I was starting or out of the groove. I focused mostly by category when I was first starting out and then moved to mixing them all up, since NCLEX is random and you want to start training your brain to jump from topic to topic. Let me know if you have any more questions! check out some of these videos to see if they are helpful! 📓NCLEX Videos:📓 How to Prepare for NCLEX pt 1 : ua-cam.com/video/CK7GIV8KQso/v-deo.html How to Prepare for NCLEX pt 2 : ua-cam.com/video/A5yiCc9kwhU/v-deo.html NCLEX 30 Day Study Plan : ua-cam.com/video/c8guCQfn1Qo/v-deo.html NCLEX Test DAY : ua-cam.com/video/yMly34e3mk4/v-deo.html NCLEX LIVE RESULTS : ua-cam.com/video/yTgGfCbQEGs/v-deo.html
@@Lifeasleslieivy I've been doing 10 questions at a time b/c typing out the rationales is where I lose steam. My aim is to dip a little bit into each system (for both adult & child) first, then hopefully I will pick up the pace later. I have checked out your other videos and even purchased the study plans on your etsy, but I'm realizing that 75 qs a day right off the bat is not attainable.. I've been spending so much time on figuring out how I want to organize my notes..XD
Is there a similar resource tab on the actual NCLEX? Or is this just a tool for Uworld? Ive gone through all of the questions in the uworld bank and never clicked on the resources tab LOL
No there isn't a resource tab that I remember unfortunately :( Yes I was like... I know there is no way that people know about this. It's just hidden in the corner!
Hey Leslie I have been scoring in he high 50s but above the average on U world. I listened to audio lectures because I haven't had NCLEX material in the past 5-6 months and I really needed some serious content review. Those did help my score however I am a little worried about my score because my school expects 60 and above ... they use Kaplan and I will be taking the Kaplan CAT exam soon. Should I be worried with these high 50s ??
Hey! SO I actually got the NCSBN when it was on sale for $14 ! They had a bunch of practice tests and the ones that I did were very vague (like the NCLEX) I think it would be a great option to get you the feel of understanding the vagueness of the NCLEX questions but I would supplement with increasing your knowledge on the topics they test on!
Nurse Leslie wow $14 can I buy those off you? I would really appreciate it. I test in a few weeks and I keep hearing that the Nclex is very vague. I have been using uworld and mark’s lectures ( amazing) but I still feel unprepared.
Can you give a question example of what you mean by how the NCLEX is more vague? I started using Uworld for the past week and I’ve been doing only randomized tests of all the subjects to try to get used to how the NCLEX will be but I’m still trying to figure out what works best for me because I’m getting 50s in my practice exams. 😭
yes! so the NCLEX is more broad think of a question asking about a disease process and the first nursing intervention you should do. Or the best nursing intervention you should do. Sometimes they will have charts for you to look at but you have to know your disease process( or medication) and what you need to do first to prevent the most unsafe outcomes.

Thanks for the great tips!! I purchased Uworld about a week ago and I have 2 weeks until I take the NCLEX. I’m freaking out because I’m below the bell curve (but also think it’s because i would ‘end’ each of my question banks tests instead of suspend) and I didn’t do too well on the first assessment. I’m thinking of taking the next assessment a week before my exam. How long did you study prior to taking the NCLEX? I did well I’m school, so I’m hoping I will pass!
Yes! try to go back to your previous tests and click resume so it counts those questions! I studied for about three weeks of like HARD CORE studying! How is it going right now?? Sorry it took me so long to respond!
Nurse Leslie yes! I went through and did that too. My percentile is still not the greatest 😭 I do about 100+ questions a day! I’m an anxious person with testing anxiety, so I gotta keep myself calm or else I’m not getting the questions right. As soon as I slow down, I understand. Thanks for the reply!! You are so sweet!
Hi, Congratulations on passing! I just finished vn program and planning on taking my nclex in August. I’ve just been doing Uworld. Did you just do questions on Uworld and take the exam or did you you go through the books and stuff? Im scared to take mine :(

But I would go back through the book for key information I missed when I was closer to test day but I actually got through 90% of the Saunders book when studying
I took about 100-150 questions at random on the UWorld Test bank before taking the first practice exam. I wanted to make sure that I really understood the layout of the questions before jumping in ! I also had friends who did it cold turkey!
Congrats on passing! When you went back and redid the incorrect questions did that change your overall percentile/score since you are seeing the question for the second time around? Do you think doing the incorrect were helpful?? Also second question! How do you purchase the nscbn tests without the study plan??
Thank you so much! When I went back to the incorrect questions, I didn't look at my score afterwards; I am sure there is a possibility that it could change my score which is why I waited until the very end! I purchased it with the study plan when they had a huge sale going on ! I got the 5 weeks for $14!
Hi Leslie, I have done my nursing from India, but now here I am preparing the nclex rn exam. Can you give me some tips on which ways I should prepare for the exam? your videos are beneficial.Thankyou🙏

Ok i'm definitely not using Uworld to its full capacity. Thanks sis... mine is at the end of June and I work. It's hard for me to questions every day...I mostly do it fri-mon 😥

The NCLEX questions are much more vague than UWorld. But be sure to pay attention to rationale so you find those solid critical thinking skills and understand the reasoning behind the topics! If you can get above the average benchmark on UWorld I TRULY believe you can CRUSH Nclex!
Sorry! I am working on learning how to edit and everything. So I used the Mark For Review feature. SO when I would answer questions in a block of like (25 for example) if I was guessing and had no idea what the answer was, I clicked mark for review. Then when you go back to the test analysis I was able to see if I guessed right or not. And if I guessed right, what was the actual rationale. Does that make sense? Sorry!
Nurse Leslie How many weeks out from the NCLEX date did you take the 2nd assessment? I haven’t even taken the first one yet and im 4 weeks out from NCLEX. Yes your previous comment about the “mark review” makes total sense! Thanks for your response. You’re awesome!

They say third times a charm, am officially a nurse 🎉🎉 for all my repeat test takers don't give up and don't be discouraged.
You will pass everyone has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will recieve
I failed 3 times, i lost money to scams and reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
I used some Uworld, some Remar, and read a lil saunders. I did 3 nurse achieve exams and my result came back failed
I have sat for Nclex for the 4th time now and still failed, i guess licence isn't meant for people like me😭
Well I've taken the exams for the second time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it
I passed in 60 questions! I used Uworld for questions and Hurst for content. For things I was unsure of I used Saunders. I did the pearson vue trick 1hr after testing and got the good popup. 48 hours later I found out I passed.
Yay!!! That is so awesome! 👏
@Halfmoon Hill the rules changed during Covid for 60 minimum and 130 maximum. So actually not lies. Now per October 2020, the minimum is 75 and the max is 145.
Girl!! Thank you!! Watched your videos and I just found out today that I passed with 60 questions!!!🎉
SUPER LATE! BUT HELLLL YES!! congrats!!!!
Omg I am about to spend my last week studying turning off the tutor mode. I never thought about that for the creating the environment. Thank you for that tip.
Yes yes yes! How was it ?!
For my similar help contact him

Carilei Q they changed the minimum due to the pandemic ! It was 75 and will probably go back to that eventually.
Thank you so much!
This makes me feel so much better! Currently using Uworld and my scores are making me cringe😭 I definitely feel like I’m on the right track now
This makes me so happy! Let me know how the test went!
Nurse Leslie i passed!
I am so happy for you congratulations! I used all your tips for the NCLEX! You inspired me to also make a video❤❤
Yay!!!! you go girl!
Congrats on passing
Congratulations!! Just watched your 30 day cram video this morning! Looking forward to using your strategies.
Thank you so much! Let me know how you like them or if you need any other advice! I'm here for ya!
Congrats! My exam is next week and I'm getting nervous. My UWORLD average is 68% and my rank is 95th. Fingers crossed..
You got this!!!! 95th percentile is awesome!
Great video Leslie!!, your videos are always so helpful. I wasn't using the resources tab before but now I will definitely use it. I am enjoying uworld, it is a useful source. Thank you for all your tips! 😊
Thank you so much! I hope that they can continue to be helpful!
Do you have any ideas for videos I can make in the future?!
Congratulations!!! I love your affirmation at the end!!
Lauren Foriest thank you so much!! I’m all about affirmations !
I didn’t know about turning off tutor mode! Thank you, that’ll help a lot!
Yes!!! Let me know how it went for you!
Nurse Leslie thank you I passed the Nclex!! 🙏🏽 I’m now an LPN
karissa lubin yes girl!!! Congrats !!!😭🤸🏾♀️💥
Otherwise good luck to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this, and Leslie def knows what she's talking about so good advice there too
Thanks for this information. When is the 60 days expiring? I don't mind buying them from you
ABSOLUTELY! I did the two self assessments with the 90 day version knowing I wouldn't use all 90 days!
@ Nurse Neslie, is your subscription still active and till when? I don't mind buying it

How’d ya do?? I take mine this Thurs 😫
Practice practice practice! I used two review courses before the NCLEX and it was the best decision for me. I also shared that on my channel :-)
@@Signedxlisa I passed with 60 questions!
Chris hi congrats! would you say nclex was vague to the point you overthink or got confused? i’m currently studying for it!
Thanks so much Leslie. This video is filled with very helpful tips.

No problem!!!
thank you for making this vid nurse leslie!!

Thank you so so much!
Hi Leslie! Thanks for always posting such great content! :)
Quick question: I've just started my final year of nursing school and was already looking into Uworld. That price point is NO joke! lol
Do you think it would be beneficial to somebody currently in the program as we continue to go thru the curriculum? OR is it better to hold off and wait till graduation?
Congrats on passing! This video was extremely helpful!
Thank you so much!!
Congrats Leslie happy for you..✨🌟
Thank you so much 💕
Thanks for this!!

Did you find the uworld questions to be right on par with the type of questions you saw on the nclex? Or were they harder or easier?
I would say that UWorld Questions were more complex the NCLEX questions seemed really vague to me!
Believe in yourself and go with your gut every time! If you need some more encourage, I share similar content on my channel. Hope that helps :-)

How did it go? I’m in the same boat as I and currently using Remar and mark was it helpful for you?
Congrats Dear!
I have UWorld. I take my exam in 2 weeks. 😭 I’m still super nervous. Maternal Child has been my weak area so far.
How are you reviewing information ?
Nurse Leslie mark Klimek lectures and writing out the rationales.
You can do this and really prepare and hit those weak points. I think I got 5 maternal questions on the NCLEX and that is my weakest subject too
Catiana J thank you!
Jazymine Latham you got this girl! Stay cam and say your affirmations ! I am smart , i am not anxious, I am more than capable of answering OB questions correctly, I am going to be a registered nurse !
I bought Uworld after failing my first attempt at the NCLEX. This test is no joke. lol
Right! NCLEX is its own beast. There is no way of knowing what to expect exactly but hopefully some of these tips helped!

Your sheet where you wrote out all the body systems and the corresponding pages in the Saunders book, is that available in a shorter two week version on Etsy??🙏
I don’t have that sheet divided into specific days so you can group them together !! It’ll just be half the time!

Did you feel the contents for the rationales on Uworld helped you more prepare for the NCLEX?

When would you suggest taking the self assessments? Thanks!!
But hey I have two friends who used UWORLD AND FAILED BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO GIVE YOU 💁🏾♀️
Did you pass?
Congratulations Leslie, also Thank you for this video. It helped me a lot. Can U world and Saunders is enough to pass NCLEX?

Thanks Leslie for the information and congrats
Thank you so much! Hopefully it was helpful for you all!
Hey girl!
I am so sorry but our school didnt use KAPLAN and I am not too sure what a CAT is? Can. you explain a little more?
I see that the ncsbn has their own exam questions. They offer 2 practice exams for $150 do you think it’s worth it?

Congratulations 👏 my question is tho..dud you see any questions that you ran into during study on the nclex exam? Curious
No , not any exact questions!

But I would go back through the book for key information I missed when I was closer to test day but I actually got through 90% of the Saunders book when studying
How long did you study before taking the first Uworld exam?
I took about 100-150 questions at random on the UWorld Test bank before taking the first practice exam. I wanted to make sure that I really understood the layout of the questions before jumping in ! I also had friends who did it cold turkey!
Thank you so much for your videos!
Awww thanks for watching them ! :)
How many question you did every day ?
I did 50 -75 questions a day!
I would shoot for 75 daily so I could finish the entire question bank!
Ok thanks
You answer question of Kaplan too?
No I didn’t use Kaplan I have some of their review books but didn’t end up using them !
You go girl
Thank you ☺️ 😊
Congrats on passing!

Happy studying!

Yes! I have videos in my NCLEX 2020 playlist where I went over the chapter breakdown and how I added saunders to my study schedule. I did different subjects/topics and then questions that I continually missed on UWorld I went back and read in the saunders book!
Nurse Leslie thanks!! & congratulations
I PASSED MY NCLEX TEST.
It wasn't easy making it through my the NCLEX after having written twice, but with the help of Dr Jayden, i successfully made it the third time . If interested then contact him through Whatsapp or text +1(559) 406-9819

Hey! just wondering when should I register to take the nclex? I saw online to register 2 months before graduating is that true?
🤗🤗🤗Have you tried to get your NCLEX and failed before ❓❓, I failed 5 times too but finally got help if you need help be it RN or LPN just PV me and 100% sure to get a solution. The NCLEX solutions guide by Mr Charles Foden is the key to success in the NCLEX exams. I studied Uworld and Kaplan and Rachel. But none was as helpful in passing the NCLEX exams. I will recommend anyone to Mr Charles Foden who needs to pass the NCLEX. I passed with 75 questions after failing 5 times. I did it so can you. Thank you so much it's very helpful.
Yay! I’m so glad you liked it ! Feel free to share it with others!
Taking my NCLEX on the 23rd 😬😬 Are the NCLEX question like uworld?
The NCLEX questions are much more vague than UWorld. But be sure to pay attention to rationale so you find those solid critical thinking skills and understand the reasoning behind the topics! If you can get above the average benchmark on UWorld I TRULY believe you can CRUSH Nclex!
Good luck!!
well done!!
Thank you !
@NurseLeslie, what was also helpful for you as well (10:07 mins); You edited that part in really fast and I couldn’t grasp it haha.
Also, what time -frame in your test plan did you use the 2 UW self-assessments?
Sorry!
My first self assessment I took 100-150 questions in and my second one I took when I had like 100 lefts in the entire test bank!
Nurse Leslie How many weeks out from the NCLEX date did you take the 2nd assessment? I haven’t even taken the first one yet and im 4 weeks out from NCLEX. Yes your previous comment about the “mark review” makes total sense! Thanks for your response. You’re awesome!
Did you use ati!
I only used ATI for graduation requirements! I do have a few friends who only studied from ATI when preparing for NCLEX and they passed as well!
Nurse Leslie ok thank you

Hey Nurse Leslie have you been able to find a job? Because it's hard out here for ya girl
Hey! I actually was offered a position before graduating. Because of COVID it was postponed until the fall so I am doing pediatric home health in the meantime to help me reach my financial goals and working as a tech in the ER.
Thanks for this. It’s so informative clip. God bless 🙏🏼
Thank you!! I’m so glad it was helpful for someone !
