Very drawn-out solution when you can just simplify the LHS to be x^(-1/2) = 3, which then implies x = 1/9. Two steps.
Nice
i don't quite see the difficulty. plus x>0 is more precise than x≠0
@@bluefandangoThe question is not difficult.
x/sqrt(x) = 3 condition: x > 03x = sqrt(x)9x^2 = x9x^2 - x = 0x (9x - 1) = 0x=0 unacceptable 9x - 1 = 0 x = 1/9 acceptable
Excellent
In the first line I meant sqrt(x)/x = 3 but the rest is fine
1/9
x^(-1+1/2) = 3
How ?
@@ChidexOnlineMathClass01 exactly the same as sqrt(2)/2 = 1/sqrt(2)... x^1/2 * x^-1 = x^-1/2
