She needs to start a podcast. I feel like she has so many deep introspective thoughts about human psychology, philosophy and just the human condition in general.
I would LOVE to hear her thoughts on certain topics.
She is an amazing singer but she also an amazing person too. I've always been deeply fascinated by her mystery and aura.

She is iridescent. Captivating. A modern day poet. Her talent is everlasting and forevermore. She is BETTER than Shakespeare. A breath of fresh air. She is a warm summer breeze in a sad melancholic cold dark world. The moment I heard Born to die, my soul was forever altered and permanently hypnotized by her ethereal angel-like out of this world vocals. Her presence could heal and make anyone's day brighter than the shiny yellow sun.

lana is a very refreshing person. it’s nice to see an artist who’s grown big that does not fit the typical pop star formula, even when her music was more pop sounding. i remember listening to born to die and realized very few artists have the courage to write songs like lolita and off to the races. She had the criticism over her music being not “feminist” enough because much of it is based on her own personal feelings (there’s no way all of our personal feelings can be politically correct) and decided she would not change herself so she could fit cookie cutter levels of faux empowerment. It can be just as empowering to admit to yourself when you have hit low points and are self aware of that. You have to take Lana Del Rey the artist as she is or not at all.

@@Givebackthescarf i don’t really mind. people have been making fictional movies about drugs and toxic relationships for centuries. she’s not a disney star so no one should be modeling after her anyway. i will say there is the occasional lana fan that romanticizes daddy issues and eating disorders, but usually these are people who are mentally ill, have a toxic tumblr account, and would’ve used any other artist as the soundtrack to their mental disturbance if it wasn’t her. her music was never meant for kids, and it’s more likely an adult would see when she’s being satirical. fans of marina didn’t even realize teen idle was a satire, and they’re in the same fanbase as lana.
as a fan of lana, i notice those who relate to her tend to be escaping through her music and daydreaming, not necessarily acting out. music isn’t automatically going to create daddy issues or an attraction to older men that was already there. we don’t expect some sort of moral leadership from male rappers or country singers who rap about guns, alcohol, and cash. and usually those people are lauded for living a gang life full of materialism because it’s “authentic.”

She seems new, but the same as ever, somehow. The core of who she is shines through as strong as ever, but there's something else, it's like she's found something. I can't put my finger on it, but it's glorious.
Funny you mention the “something else” because in her Rolling Stone article she brings up how several months ago something inside her changed. She wasn’t fully aware of it until her brother said something like “Something feels different”. It really is so cool to see her in this new light. Her personality is golden

I love hearing her talk. I’m just always listening to what she has to say. Like…maybe I discover something I can take with me for the rest of my life.
I've never emotionally connected with any songwriter as much as Lana. She seems like she'd be truly wonderful and fascinating to sit and talk to about pretty much anything.
I just need a solid 3 hours of Lana just talking about herself.

even her speaking voice is so stunning. This woman is so angelic and special
she truly is one of the most inspiring musician out there. she created a whole entire world for her life and she managed to take us in it to explore it and feel things and that's one of the things i love the most about her art. she's an art gallery that allows you to soak up what her art makes you feel.

i've honestly been struggling in silence since the death of my uncle last summer which was followed almost immediately by the death of my godson's grandmother. This album really did let the light in for me, especially this song and the meaning behind it

made me tear up thinking about how SHE interacts with other people. she's so unbelievably lovely.
This is history being made... theres like, some special interviews of Lana in each Era that she went through, and that is the interview of that new Era that she is living, and i would say, that's the most high level era that she is in. she's happy, and living life beautifully.

@Snailmail1 her father and her uncle are singers and musicians. a fourteen-part harmony is layering of 14 different voices to create a harmony (i hope that helps) :)

Her way of speaking is so enthralling. She is very self-aware and with that she is able to articulate, not only her feelings, but the things going on around the globe. I believe Lana is an Empath. Her sign being Cancer, she is sensitive to other people's emotions as well as her own. A lot of writers and singers tend to show glimpses of the best parts of their selves and they leave out the worst. Lana sings and writes about it all unapologetically. I love her.
