I think its amazing she played so excellent under those conditions...you can tell shes cold af up there. Been there n its more difficult than you think. Shes awesome!!!
Finally, some anger, Anika is always so controlled, and her songs have this slow pace, that makes her playing a little boring sometimes, but in this gig I can feel the extra muscle and the attitude. Anyway she is one of the World's greatest.
Well based on that we know it's Tama, the color and sound, I would say it's one of their maple snares. Looks like www.tama.com/product/snare_data.php?year=2018&area=2&series_id=15&sig_flg=0
That snare, omfg!
Man these Tama star drums sound so damn good. That’s literally one of the best sounding snares and kits I’ve ever heard
Yeah, and that's why Morten Lund plays Tama today in stead of Yamaha.
lol. pity other drums sound so shit
This never gets old. Amazing
fantastic
Good good good!!!!! so cool
Touch and motion are great!!!
My Favorite AN song :)
Friggin AWESOME..Thats not a big enough word..in fact there are no words to describe you they haven't come up with one yet..
I’ve seen and met her twice now at the Drum Depot. My favourite drummer/ musician. Always inspires me, not just the drumming, but also as a person.
Soooo goooddd I love her ❤
Anika Niles is a very Artistic and Inspiring Drummer! Maximum Alpha Waves for the Gray Matter.
my favorite drummer she is so good
Wow, that performance was insane, both in the drumming and her physical presence.
Look up her performance of the same song on Drumeo 2020.Much better sound quality and stage presence
@@SJ-up2zr thanks will do
3:12 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
She's just great.
I love Anika's crash cymbal set-up, she always has that leading edge tilted up a few degrees...that's the mark of a true pro, that level of detail.
....no, a true pro wouldn't need to do that for proper sound. Not saying she is not, just saying the cymbal tilt can be limiting.
Perfect!!
That snare!!!!
Anika, Tal and Jeff Beck - dream band.
that's a fine idea ! but Tony Hymas should be there as well or Jan Hammer...
Jeff Beck already has Vinnie Colaiuta, And he runs circles around Anika.
But Jeff not a girl!
Beast!!! Definitely my favorite Annika song.
Quelle richesse cette batteuse ...C·est beau de voir et d·entendre ça ....

OMG! the star snare sound amazing. May i know what wood is that snare?
Sounds like Maple to my ears.
Does she play with other musicians or does she always play to a backing track?
I didn't think it was possible for anyone to be as fast as Chris Coleman, but she could well be as fast. I know she is into his drumming.
Hey, anyone know the details on that snare?
Well based on that we know it's Tama, the color and sound, I would say it's one of their maple snares. Looks like www.tama.com/product/snare_data.php?year=2018&area=2&series_id=15&sig_flg=0
is that benny greb signicher snare?
I think it is Tama Star Maple 14x5.5
Одинокая
2:48.... But the best drummer for me today!
2:48 - 2:53 WTF ??
An amazing swap of tempo
Nobody's perfect! Makes her authentic :)
@@birkproductions7091 wasn't her though right? Think it was the backing track. And she adjusted herself pretty quickly.
its an example of a technique called metric modulation
They look like, sound like some large hi hats 🤔
OK the snare sounds great but what dafuq happened to the others drums?
they sound like rubbish
