Can't say enough how authentic you're. Those towels mirror what we all have. While, we may have the ones that are aesthetics, that shows us you're genuine. Real life, isn't always so glamorous and besides in our house those are the best towels. They dry, absorb and definitely not itchy.
Hi Leah...thanks for having me over and for the nice visit. I love your home. I too watch Amy. I put our tree up today. I decided to make dehydrated orange slice ornaments. I got the idea from Amy. I help our nephew at his Funeral Homes and he is planning a Holiday Memorial this Saturday and Sunday for the families of all those who were in our care this year, so I will be busy helping and wanted to get my decorating done. I too live in the country and love the peaceful laid-back life although I know first hand if you have kids, a garden & animals it can also be busy. Simple & cozy is my favorite. Thanks for all the ideas and look forward to more videos.
I fold my laundry on my kitchen table, but the kitchen gets a good clean before that first load is ready to fold so I don’t have to worry about crumbs or oily stuff getting in the clean clothes. 😉 Never be embarrassed about things like towels, we all have favorites, I had 2 bath sheets and 6 regular bath towels and those 2 bath sheets were argued over constantly, so, when the 8 towels could be seen through, I replaced them a bit at a time with only white bathsheets; I never buy sets of towels as we use bath loofahs/poufs and I use nice kitchen hand towels in my bath because they always have better designs than bath hand towels and I can change the color scheme with them.

Hello Leah ~ I love your comment about putting away Fall and letting the house “ rest” before decorating for Christmas. In my case, I AM THE ONE NEEDING THE DAYS OF REST ! LOL!! Twisting my body to put totes away do a number on my lower back. So I rest ( more like lay flat with Icey/Hot ( old lady perfume …☹️) Then onto the next core of bringing out the Christmas totes. I was thinking maybe schoolhouse pendants that are clear glass instead of milk glass? But I'm wondering about the dust that would show on the clear glass. Any thoughts? Thank you!
Thank you, Beth! I was a little concerned that they wouldn’t give off enough light, but I love the look of milk glass so I went for it. I am so glad I did! They are plenty bright enough for our kitchen space. I have clear glass in one of our bathrooms and they tend to show dust. The milk glass is great at hiding dust. I tend to forget about them when I’m cleaning! Hope that helps!
A few things, 1) where is that cow tapestry from ? 2) agree with bath towels, ours are so warn in, we love them. Washcloths too, the thinner the better. and 3) your home is so gorgeous, I love every space.

We installed our floors a couple of years ago, and they came with a glossy finish. I like to change up what I use on them. Lately I’ve just been using warm water and dish soap. I definitely need to look into something to restore some of the shine, especially in our high traffic areas.
It’s a wood stove, rather than an insert. We use it to heat our entire home, verses a fireplace insert which would be more for decorative purposes. They only heat a small area. We heat with our wood stove all winter, and I’ve even cooked on it during power outages. Hope that helps!
I really like Amy Fritz, her channel is so nice! I also really like to do a good cleaning in between seasons or holidays. It gives your home a chance to breathe. I can hardly wait for Christmas and the celebration of our Lord's birth.
