- How I installed the uniLIGHT system in the wings on the Hangar 9 Carbon Cub 15CC.
I used servo lead as extensions and Transperent Expoxy to glue everything in place.

5mm PIN Strobe Light, 3Wx2 (PIN5X-030x2-WE)

@@DanielsRCHobby The same work waiting for me. 🙈I take the uniLIGHT PRO-Medium Light KIT for my Hangar 9 Carbon Cub.
I have thought about this but I fear the mechanical stability of the wing will be decreased drastically. Actually it needs an reenforcement over the whole you made. I strongly suggest to glue carbon fiber stripes on both sides of your whole.
nice job. I am about to start my second Hangar9 Carbon Cub after a clash due to electrical failure while in flight. On the first one I exchanged wing landing lights to Unilight powerful ones and I cannot have benne more happy (also added a beacon to the bottom with a 2ch controller. For this second one I have bought same wingtip light as you and your video is very helpful for me. The only thing I don't like at all is the position you choose for drilling. I think I will drill a bit more rearwards, just in the top of the wingtip arch. Your position seems a fit forwarded don't´t you think?. Or may be you choose your position due to structural requirements? thank you in advance

There are some structual parts in the middle of the wingtip but it was mostly the shape of the light cover and how they seem to be placed on the real plane that made me to descide that position.
@@DanielsRCHobby you’re right, I’ve just checked images of real plane into the internet. May I decide to install them like you. Thank you for your kind and fast reply. I am also thinking about ordering the tail light but first I have to to figure out how to route the wires through the vertical stab and rudder. Should I practice first with crashed parts…
@@palicio I drilled three times to the light wire through the rudder and into the fuselage.
There are a image in the "Elevator and Rudder" film illustratin how I made the holes. About 15 minutes in.

operating voltage?
I will use a 2S LiPo to power the lights, receiver and servos. The lights can handle up to 3S battery
