I've heard the name shine rice but never have it. The most delicious food you can eat is when Granny cooks.
its so nice that you are teaching your daughter to cook. shout out to your mom too.
Sorry for the later reply, since I came back from The Philippines I have been sick, now feeling better. Oh Hannah is always curious to want to learn to cook. I will pass on your greetings to my mom, Thank you so much for watching

Great vlog Greg, I never heard of shine rice in Trinidad. It sounds like the dish developed out of hard times.
Many hardship dishes are now considered comfort foods.
The way you guys made it, if you add ochre then that's ochre rice in Trinidad 🇹🇹 😋.
Ah ok, now I learned something, Ochre rice, yes shine rice is now considered comfort food. Thank you my friend
Hi Greg, this is the way i make my moksi alesi because i don t like peas and i call it white moksi alesi. I put pork tail and salt beef. Nice to see you are making it also in your way with more spices and herbs😊
Hi Diana, niceeee almost similar to what my mom made, I loveeee any kind of Moksi Alesi, hehehe, thank you for watching my video.
My mother's #1 dish, when we were young.Great video, Mister Kandasammy.
Take care my friend
Hi G, yep mom in full view hahaha. How is Arleen hope all is ok. We also would eat rice with milk and suger or just with sugar ,poor ppl food back in the day,s. Yes about the country ,the before times will never come back but it will not be like before with the earnings cause Su is still a 3W country and everything all over the world is expensive and it will not drop like before.
Maybe when the top do their job and do not take the earnings of the country and put it in their pockets and use it for the ppl then maybe after some time it can become better. So yes i will always love the country itself. If i come to visit again it will be for a week again or 9days and like the last time it was very busy vacay so we will see, but as for now i have vacay everyday at home hahaha. Stay safe and greetings to the rest and hope your feeling better these day,s.🌴🍉🥥

Hi Gregory, Can you please explain to the world the history of Madam Jeanette? We only know (if that is true) that the pepper was named after a prostitute. If that is so…then why? Or how come this pepper has her name?
Hahahaha, ok my friend, I will do a bit of research into that, it sounds interesting!
Seems very delicious. I give it a try. Thank you. GodBless.
Hi Sandra, yes it is very delicious, let me know how it came out, thank you so much. God bless you too.
