Another great video in the eternal search for the perfect stroke!
Travis is one of the best out there.
Travis is one of the best. He was so nice that day when I asked if I could put the camera on the boat.
Tahitian technique never made sense to me until I heard it explained in an Australian accent.
Lol, true!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!!!
John A Travis is a great teacher! So humble.
Good stuff!
What makes this paddling technique "Tahitian"? The fact that he emphasizes on stretching the upper arm over to the opposite side, holding the paddle vertical?
Good question. I think the Tahitians emphasize long in the water and quick to the front.
I think the short answer is “long in the water, quick to the front”
I love Flamin Amy's!
Gordon rock Me too!! Their stickers make great ding repair.
Tahitians do this without rudders thats the impressive part.
Yes, the V1 is a different game altogether -- it's a beautiful thing to watch, pure connection with the water.
So true.
Would be good to know the reasons for the two dislikes.
6 now.... you never can tell with some people
Who knows perhaps the water spots on the screen or the sound quality. But I am grateful to be able to listen to Travis and learn something.
