What makes this paddling technique "Tahitian"? The fact that he emphasizes on stretching the upper arm over to the opposite side, holding the paddle vertical?

Good question. I think the Tahitians emphasize long in the water and quick to the front.

Who knows perhaps the water spots on the screen or the sound quality. But I am grateful to be able to listen to Travis and learn something.
