Morgan thank you for this video. I appreciate the way you took your time with each pallet and one over just about every color and tried different brushes. I was happy to see profusion getting some love. I am 56 and I think I was using profusion in the 90s or maybe in the 80s. You mentioned. I’ll give it a I’ll give it a try and it’s probably different pots. I could get the most juice out of some more than others. That’s nothing new for me with just about every pallet from the Indy buy two more luxury and I can definitely use it as a companion palette with my pigment to neutral pallets. Thank you and girl I am going to be losing your link tomorrow to get me this pallet and some other goodies because I’m I just received 20% off rouge coupon in the mail and I cannot wait to use it from Sephora. Take care and thank you. Hope everything went well with your move is moving can be kind of traumatic but I’m happy that your, your family and everything it’ll be all right. Take care.💖🧚🏼🌅💫

At this point I’ll stick with my Lancôme eyeshadows. They very subtle, but never crease on my eyelids and dark shades can be used with the wet brush as eyeliner. And they very suitable with my pale skin. Thank you dear Morgan🙏🏻❤️🙌

  • @LindsayReifsnyder

Just got the brown one last week & used it 3 times. Had the same experience as far as shocked at how blendable & easy to apply it was, but didn’t have the color pay off I was hoping for. I did notice that using a matte eyeshadow primer helped with both getting a little more oomph out of the colors & with longevity, it also helped me wear it more comfortably bc I have very sensitive eyes & the cream formula seemed to irritate them a bit when applied directly to the lid, using a primer gave me a buffer layer that minimized that irritation.
I think trying regular pigmented powders over the darker shades (esp as eyeliner) is my next experiment to try and get even more color payoff. Overall a really good palette that’s super easy to use though & worth the money

@@exomake_mehorololo I don’t use cream eyeshadow the way Morgan was demonstrating in this video. However, I think she was only using this particular palette for demonstration purposes to see if the shades layered together and how each one performed. I use creams as a one & done without a brush, no primer. It makes it easy for travel in that way. I don’t think one is better than the other, though. I like both.

I am wearing them today for the first time, after watching your video I opted for MAC paint pot for the base, I set the cream mattes, the applied the shimmers, the set again. 5 hours in, they have not creased, keep in mind that without proper base I am prone to creasing. I don't know about these for my super hooded, oilier than one would or could imagine for someone turning 65 in 2 weeks. Something tells me that these would just melt, slide and transfer all over the place on my lids within a few hours, and that's going off of your own later on wear picture. Ill just stick with her Pretty Grunge palette, as that one has proven to be my perfect workhorse palette!

These palettes are a beautiful work of art, as most of the time with Huda Beauty. But I feel that the colors are too repetitive, plus they don't seem very impactful for all the work you've done here. I have the ND hyper face palette, which gives kind of the same vibe. At least with ND, you can get a result in just 5 minutes.
Plus I have hooded and deep set eyes, mature skin (44), and I felt than the ND formula already was lacking a bit of wear time for me. It started creasing around 5/6 hours with an eye base (which never happens so fast with powders or cream to powder). So if I am already a bit dissapointed by the wear of ND's palette, I won't even try these ones (even if they are pretty, and tempting like a box of chocolate😁).
Thank you for confirming my doubts and doing all the testing work😘

Thanks for your review and being honest on the fact that you cannot get depth. I feel that to use these palettes we have to change our usual ways of make up. in terms of depth but also in terms of application. Not sure brushes are the best tools. Application with fingers works really well. And it's so easy to blend them with the fingers. Maybe worth trying unusual ways...

thats interesting! i just saw a review before yours and the eyeshadows didnt crease for them! maybe they require some experimenting to see how to make them work at their best? I do have a helpful hack to prevent eyeshadow from budging, I mainly use this to prevent eyeliner from transferring onto my crease because it happens everytime with me. If you spray your eye makeup with makeup setting spray and let it dry for a few seconds, your eyeliner/eyeshadow is not going to budge! 10/10 recommend

I think I’m gonna pass because I have her all Matte palette that came out last year with the pinky plum version or the warm neutrals version… I have the pinky plum.
There’s a couple of shadows in there and unfortunately they get dry. Natasha’s cream to powder formula also dries out in a couple of months. ..
I do enjoy a cream shadow, but a single pot that you could close tight will outlast any of the ones in Hudas or Natasha’s pallets .
This is an easy pass for me (thank God because we only have two eyeballs. I’m currently looking at 25 to 30 pallets in my collection and it’s a shame that they will not get used to their potential).
We are all suckers for a new release 😬 it’s like Christmas morning🥰

I think, putting down the set shade first before you apply the cream eyeshadows will be helpful. I really believe that these eyeshadows will apply better by using the finger. I’m surprised that Huda has these elaborate shadow looks when when I think of cream eyeshadow, I basically just think of a simple one and done maybe wearing two or three colors at the most. But it’s just a different medium and it applies very differently than powder eyeshadows and that’s OK for a very simple look. I just don’t see how a more elaborate look Actually translates in real life.

I'm sorry but I have to return this product (if they accept the exchange) although the palette is easy to use, easy to blend, this melts like a stick of butter, the primers I used are: nars, laura mercier, p .louis, and mac. In addition, I sealed it but that was not enough, in my city it is still not very hot, but in the summer this will be complete chaos; My daughter told me when she saw me that she thought I had done a cut crease 🤣 my sister in Christ this has to go from my collection! greetings !!!!

I’m surprised it lasted 4hrs for you because if I’m not mistaken she had 2 cream to powder this same formula in the matte obsessions palettes I did buy 1 of those & that one creased so bad on my oily hooded eyes it didn’t last more then 30min I didn’t buy these new ones because I know for a fact these are not good 🤷🏻‍♀️

She really said "I'm going to do what other brands are doing successfully and make it boring"

Hey Morgan. You can make any pallet work, but this product does look a little underwhelming. And I love Huda. I'm loving the Grunge pallet. Anyway, could you possibly review the new Givenchy 9 pan neutral pallet?

I have very oily eyelids and severe hooded eyes, so these pallets are a pass for me. Already knew it before the review. I stick to my powder shadows or some eyeshadow sticks that dry down very fast.

I would prefer these just being normal Huda powder eyeshadows, creams are just unstable and too putty to the touch

The obsessions used to be $27.

This lunch is not for me at all, as I have hooded eyes and very oily lids. I hate the concept of cream shadows like these, for example the ones in the Patrick Ta Major Dimension palettes were TERRIBLE on me, creased in a matter of seconds, even after they were set with powder

Very helpful... I can skip these. There are many other products I'd rather enjoy. ❤
