I have this system and I have been really impressed from day one, I have a split level bedroom and I have a Samsung Q930B as my main system at low level and the Majority Sierra as my inbed viewing system, the Q930B is a much more sophisticated system and has separate rear speakers and gives a fantastic Atmos experience, However, I still dig the Majority and although I mainly use it in bed without the Sub connected it still never fails to impress me...and every now and then I'm looking over my shoulder for sounds that I swear come from behind - The Sierra plus is a fantastic Soundbar for the money and brilliant solution to fix tinny TV speakers, I have no regrets and I don't think it's inferior to the Samsung...it's just different

I've had the majority Sierra plus for over a year now. In my opinion it sounds great in a small to medium sized room..3D setting actually provides an acceptable sense of surround in most movies. There are some annoyances such as the front display cannot be turned off ( it does dim somewhat when not utilizing the setting) but is not terribly bothersome. However, when powered off a 3 digit line (---) remains on the bar. It also powers on/off randomly when not in use (powered off)..possibly it's getting a signal from Roku or other inputs that may be updating causing the soundbar to receive a signal to power on.. so annoying that we unplug it overnight. Hopefully, future models will provide tweeters for better treble ( presently has only full range speakers). We do not regret the purchase as it sounds really great in our tv room.

but when i turn up the sound - i can hear a bit of hissing from the soundbar,
is this normal or am i doing something wrong or would the sierra model be a better buy,

Since you cover so many Majority products, maybe it's an interesting idea to tell a bit more about the company next time? The logo looks like it's an old company, but it's pretty young. But what I couldn't figure out is what their product design process is. Are they UK designed? Or are they OEM devices they rebranded? Do they also manufacture in the UK?

Another Majority product. Honestly, I didn't know the brand before I saw them on your channel, thanks for introducing them to me. One interesting thing you said though, you said you connected the soundbar over optical and then said that the atmos effect was brilliant. So you say you had Dolby Atmos over optical?
Mainly used optical connection, but not for Atmos.
Is bluetooth ready?

Superb value.
Not getting much surround sound with this soundbar, 3d sound isn't good the up firing speakers are too quite especially for dolby atmos which doesn't work as it's just compressed dolby audio . I only got one film to work with atmos on Netflix and the sound was much the same. The soundbar itself doesn't sound great as it has no central speaker. This honestly shouldn't be called an atmos speaker as you don't get the effect
