I somehow completely understand this. ❤ I feel so grateful to have found her channel. I found out I have PTSD and being able to couple Emma’s advice with my in-person sessions with my own personal counselor, I have experienced so much progress and success already. I feel like I have so many tools in my toolbox now and I am so grateful to know my brain is actually being retrained. I won’t suffer like this forever. And I feel so much affection toward Emma. Not like weird, romantic but in a thankful sort of way.

I just completed a yoga course through Strongbody and I feel great. I used to be stressed out from work, but after taking the course, my mental state has improved significantly. The classes are designed to be gentle, focusing on breathing, stretching and meditation, helping me relax both my body and mind. The instructors are very dedicated, always making sure I do the movements correctly to achieve the best results. The atmosphere in the class is peaceful and friendly, suitable for all levels, even beginners. After each session, I feel more relaxed, more positive and easily focus on the present. If you are feeling stressed and need to find balance, I highly recommend trying this yoga course. Don't forget to bring a relaxed spirit and be ready to feel the change!

I don’t see many therapy videos that are helpful to me personally. I really appreciate this simple practical, applicable, calm, easily memorable and personable advice that comes from this channel. What many of us need are direct solutions and it’s easy to appreciate someone being up front and trying to break through succinctly. As relevant as many areas of therapy are to the problems they are addressing, so many of them are not addressing very direct and immediate response.

Shyaaam Meneen meditation is one way many people mentally and physically respond to issues they experience, but it is not at all the only way and may in fact be unhelpful in some cases. I appreciate the advice, but it is not advice you should be giving with the knowledge that it might not be a response that works for everyone where an alternative might work.

I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make anends be happy for them.

This didn’t work, so I took a cold shower, and it helped almost instantly-about 40%. Doing yoga gave me around 20% relief right away. But what consistently works, no matter where I am, is breathing. When I practiced Wim Hof breathing-three rounds of 30 breaths while sitting-I completely shifted out of my stressed state and reconnected with my calm, true self.
This is for anyone who needs quick, effective relief. The only challenge is overcoming the laziness that prevents doing it regularly.
    That's all

Victoria, Be careful what you feed your mind to reduce stress.. Avoid comparing yourself with others, reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15 minutes or more. You can sit or lay down--eyes closed--No deep breathing. Don’t fight your thoughts. Never meditate with expectations. Make it a lifetime habit to observe your breath day and night before sleep, at work, when travelling, etc with eyes open or closed. Best wishes--Counsellor.

0:18 For me, a stress is for a thought or a mind, but not for a body.

Nice informative video. Be careful what you feed your mind to reduce stress..
