口语特别流利的还是少数，大部分还是吞吞吐吐的。有个女生说得不太流利，但说的内容特别好，不要把太多精力放在accent 上，重点是流利和内容。
我感觉她说的已经很流利了，比澳洲这边大多数留学生好。

语言还是要多说，说少了必然不会有多流利
应当不是英语的问题，是表达能力和思维的逻辑编织的问题。他们的英语都足够好了，关键是表现欲望不强烈。
口语日常交流没问题。一旦遇到行业 专业 就需要专业了。和中文一样，化学，医疗，物理，很多行业，中国人都会中文，遇到专业还是完全听不懂，需要专业英语应对。

哈哈哈我以前也在那里上班，可惜没有遇到过Mike老师，不然我一定认得出来你。另外，在这一块采访被拒绝很正常，因为大家的休息时间很短，又要出来买咖啡或者吃饭，以前我们就往返就非常赶。
西装小哥的英语很好，而且气场十足。口音还是需要注意的，刚开始是不要太在意发音准不准，要勇于开口去交流，随着你听说的越多，自己就能区分和去优化自己的口音了。

@@alexandermacarthur627 只要你稍微留意一下，很容易發現周圍不少人說母語中文錯漏百出，更不用說各種各樣的奇特口音腔調。不管怎麼樣，把每個字讀對了是最重要的一步，滿口錯別字讓你的形象崩塌，也讓他人困擾，尤其是說中文普通話廣東話nl不分前後鼻音不分的人。

I am a (Hong) Kongee, if you conduct this interview in HK, but not in the financial zone like 陸家嘴, I do believe, most of the Kongee don't speak English as good as those teens shown up in this video clip. Yeah try start the conversation with the local language -- Mandarin. You may get more positive feedback. Have you ever seen any chinese guy go to US or UK starting a talk to native with “你会说中文吗”? I think it may sound a little bit cultural aggressive since nobody in US is assumed to speak Mandarin, so does it apply to any place in China.

在不是以英语为首的国家最好训练自己的管道是加入国际公司尤其是美国或英国外企。我在来自东南亚大学毕业后无法以英语完成一个句子。庆幸自己第一份工作就加入美国外企，公司文化是以全英语交流。第一年说得不好第二年进步一些，在3年后基本上能以英语无阻碍交流。影片里有一位采访的女生说学英语不要太注重口音是对的。太多人学英语时会模仿大不列颠或北美口音而不是注重于语法或词汇，这是错误的学习方式。学习语言是要以简单方式传递信息，口音其次。
感觉你采访的初中生英语比他们好😀😀
长江后浪推前浪，我们那会初中才开始学，现在小学开始学，上海的外国语学校的孩子天天跟老外泡一起，跟中国老师学英语想学好比登天难。

我比較在意的是有個待在英國五年的小夥，他的表達能力和英語的溝通程度讓我很驚奇，應該會是侃侃而談的感覺，但他好像只留學了一年或半年的感覺，很是好奇原因。

不是去了英国英语就能变好这是错觉。很多人去了国外年纪很大了汉语都说不好可想而知英语表达了，这么多人没有一个印象特别深刻的，国内学的好的要去英语国家呆3-5年，这样才能自如表达，只在国内学话，交流问题不大但总是缺点意思。。。。太苛求了😄
@@tianmingfan579 还是教育问题，有钱人家的孩子，都送孩子到全英语教学的学校，像黄磊的女儿，多多小时候上的幼儿园都十多万一年学费，十几年前，几岁孩子口语都非常好
其实也不奇怪，很多华人在国外一辈子都不会说英文，主要看到了国外周边的人是什么，华人团体太大了，很多时候不说英文也可以生活
成年后学英语得有天分，否则呆5年也没用。金融小哥也是国外读的master，但他说他3-5岁就开始学英语了，这才是他如此流利的原因。

上海真的就是这样的， 那些说要回去上班的， 其实就是我们的第一反应， 就是人家上前来搭话 我们第一反应就是 ”没空“ “哦 我还有事 不好意思“， 因为之前地铁里啊 自媒体还没流行时 那些推销读英语的 就是路上拉着人说免费课程啦， 然后免费体验啦， 然后就是让她们办课程。 所以多数上海人 比较反感上前来搭讪的 就是怕你们要推销这些 推销那些。 那这几年拍自媒体的人多了， 海归回去的也多了， 所以愿意接受采访的人也多了。 大家就是比较自信了， 也知道一些Tiktok啊 Up主啊 喜欢采访路人啥的（以上来自我个人意见）

发表一下个人观点，毕业以后在这上了三年班，大中午在天桥上面逛的游客居多吧，写字楼里的吃完饭就很赶着回去休息或者干活了。有些公司午休时间还是很严格的…

Do the same interview on Wall Street. Find out how many American can speak Chinses. Interested.
Most of the people in the US who speak Chinese either grew up in China or grew up in the US but speak Chinese at home. Americans who are fluent Chinese just by learning it at school are very hard to find in real life. Even in Wall Street, finding an American (excluding Chinese American) who is fluent in Chinese is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Its “interesting”. And, please check on how many Chinese companies in Wall Street before conducting this interview. How many foreign talents working in Chinese companies as higher management?

@@lupinforever9334 True. But it honestly wouldn't feel the same as this video. It's much more impressive to find people who attained a high level of fluency in the language without being raised in that environment. The Chinese interviewed here, I assume, were not raised in English speaking environments. Sure, they have a foreign accent, but their level of fluency is very impressive otherwise. The Asian people in the US who speak Chinese most likely grew up in a Chinese speaking environment at home.
@@xiayangfan8633 Needle in a haystack would be easy... try a pin prick in a haystack! That would be the equivalent level of difficulty!
记得本科时候第一次接待foreign guest的时候（在Live House/Club之类的地方兼职），讲道理确实挺忐忑的就会像那个戴眼镜的小姐姐想的什么发音不标准七七八八的（虽然自认为发音还算OK），然后以前也没多少开口说的经历。但后来其实真的还好，把自己的意思说出来，只要别太离谱就很自然。至于国内一般都是看的能力比说的能力强，毕竟从小学开始学，学的进去的一般看文章看新闻抛开太过于专业和俚语的词汇真的不在话下（至少我身边的是这样的），不过要亲口说就仁者见仁了。
陆家嘴算是国内平均学历最高的非校园区域之一了，要去其他地方调查估计惨不忍睹吧哈哈哈。

主要的问题是说的都是中式直译，中文思维，用词也不合适，听起来就比较费劲，不像听native speaker容易懂，但读中式英语邮件我就很有优势，可以猜出他们想表达的意思

城市的小孩，都有返學，去到大學修讀不同專業，修讀的外語，不只能說英語，還有其他語言，多到嚇人。

If I was in SH I’d be happily take the interview. My English study journey is not quite the same as most of the 好学生 in China 😂. I never passed English exams until maybe 2nd year in university. I only started to study English because I really wanted to study abroad. Because I have motivation so I spent every night at library to study English. At the same time I took the advanced level IELS classes. I wanted to push myself in the most difficult class/environment straight away, it works for me, as it adds pressure 😃. Then I passed my IELS exam from the 2nd try. After that I passed level 4 level 6 easily 😂 (the Chinese English exam). Now I’ve been living and working in London for nearly 10 years. I think in terms of study anything, no motivation is pretty much pointless, like most of Chinese students study English but can’t really use it to communicate with people, only for exams - which is pointless for the purpose of study a language.
Most Chinese have no motivation to work overseas ……so they don’t bother to learn.
No need to learn English if you want to live in China.

@@chomtso 在陆家嘴工作，可能并不像表面上的那么光鲜照人。虽然收入会比大多数人高，问题是哪里的消费也很高。一顿午餐最最最最起码的是30-50元。而且陆家嘴不太容易打到出租车，不是因为车少，是因为打车的人多。
@@chomtso 举例，陆家嘴几乎云集了所有国际一线品牌，例如陆家嘴国金中心IFC，但是真的在里面消费的人，我感觉真的不太多。过过眼瘾，领个世面，很多都会拖朋友从海外带进来。

It is actually not too bad for non English speakers to achieve this level of competency. I guess chinese people lack the opportunity to practise. The best way is to go to a English speaking country and work there for say at least 5 years. It is not easy.
