It's just slapping a band-aid on to soothe the pain. I don't really like when we try to paint over cracks with optimism and when it doesn't work we then realize that the wrong decisions have been made.

Planning is so poor. Kellyman for £20m Paez in 12 months, Chukwuemeka, Gallagher, Santos, Casadei, already at the club, and thats without even looking at Palmer playing as an 8.

If we aren't making any additional attacking signings, then sure, you can have KDH and Carney as attacking 8s, Palmer and Madueke at RW, Sterling and Mudryk at LW, and Jackson and Nkunku as CF, but it would just make more sense to get either a CF or a winger and shift Cole to an attacking 8 and possibly Nkunku to the wing. KDH also makes no sense as a signing beyond this one season because we have Paez and Estevao coming in next summer who we clearly think are better options.
Looks like a good player but Enzo or Caicedo aren’t gonna be dropped to accommodate him, so were does he play?? Or is he a rotational player and back up if there are injuries, or does someone else get dropped for him to play, maybe if we sell Gallagher ( which looks likely ) he takes his spot. We actually don’t really need to buy to many players because if everyone was fit it would be hard to get everyone onto the pitch and some very good players would be starting games on the bench
Look at this in this sense, he comes in to play cam while palmer moves to the left. Instead of signing a left winger.
I have liked this player from the first time i saw him in the Leicester team playing with Madison and knew he could be a top player. Therefore I would welcome him to the Chelsea team. Together with Palmer were are going to give teams real headaches next season for sure. Up the Chels!

He'll get something to fight with in Chukwumeka and Nkunku. But looks great beside Raz or Mikha.

I think it's high time that the club show the door to players who can't keep themselves fit no matter how good they are. You can't be starring in one game and then sit out for the next ten games. I actually thinks that this can be a smart buy and I want a CM that can score and assist. Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia are not really goalscorers.
He is certainly a quality player, but is he better than anything we already have? We NEED a quality experienced striker; we can’t just rely on Jackson and some 18 year old to hold the front line for an entire season, especially with us playing in Europe.

This is going to be another Mount problem. Coach brings him from lower league and becomes the coach's pet, automatic starter and gets moved around to positions he does not excel in just to get him in the lineup
