insane talent Mozart would literally resurrect himself for this this is why, such music existed in the first place to be timeless, to be replayed brilliant
Whether or not this is actually Yngwie (which this could or could not be, I'm not familiar with his work enough to make that call), this is still a great rendition of a metal version of Mozart's 40th and I personally love it
@Greebo111 But he has a single coil sound. They are wound like a humbucker to be quiet but they sound almost beyond single coil. He doesn't have the typical buzzsaw distortion from a hot pickup.
Malmsteen would've done this about 146X faster than the original version with tons of added sweep picking arpeggios and other fireworks to wow the metal audience of 1984.
Maybe not a metal version, but its exactly what I meant when I typed up the metal search. Distorted electric guitar = metal in some sense. You are not of high enough brow to critique this masterpiece performance of Mozart's Symphony 40 in any sense - Bravo Montivero - splendid indeed! LMAO
I´m sorry but that´s just nonsense ! Yngwie played with the orchestra yeah he did, but he composed his own original songs and he arranged his pieces like far beyond the son for an orchestra. Firstly he recorded with the czech orchestra and then years after that he played it live with the japanse orchestra. But
Malmsteen also played several classical pieces and he also wrote the orchestral score too. In this version, I can hear both the normal classical tones but also the guitars overtones, its just not as zazzy as some of his pieces. Even the guitar sounds like his.
Ингви Моцарта играет строго по партитуре,а в Адажио Альбинони поменял метроритм,но это не испортило великую музыку и великого гитариста,браво,солнышко!
The fact that Yngwie started off as a classical violin player as a child has a lot to do with his love and style of play when playing classical pieces such as this and any other he plays.on guitar.
@HPTexanProductions Just because it says on UA-cam it's Ynkkä, sure as hell does not make it so. Sounds more like Alkana to me too, but srsly I don't really care, it sounds quite pleasing enough in my ear ;-)
Ellen RipleyAlien KillerNrOne Yeah, Yngwie does not copy it or cover it that way, i can´t actually tell you why or whats the difference but you´re right you just feel it when yngwie plays it :D
he didn't play the lute, he was taught how to fix them. He did try it in a homage to Richie Blackmore , did not go so well. He does play the cello though.
We don't care if it is Yngwie or not, (Yngwie wouldn't play such a Mozart piece this way, anyway.... not so much in his favourite influences) but if not we would like to know WHO it is ! It's his playing ! This guitarist deserves credit ! It sounds like an orchestra behind, on the top of that ! Is there an album or what ? And why putting A pic from Yngwie ! That's not too clever.... especially not for this musician. There are several virtuosos who can play this as well or even better than Yngwie anyway (he keeps adding his typical "scales" in th emiddle of melodic parts way too often... I've loved Yngwie for 30 years but he forgets too often that sometimes "less is more" and repeated himself way too much).
The left and right panned guitars are sometimes off by a fraction, and sometimes one will hold a vibrato a little longer than the other? He must have recorded it in 2 takes
okay even if its not yngwie. MUSIC IS MATH!!! its a series of patterns used by placement. numbers do what you tell them to. MUSIC DOES WHAT YOU TELL IT TO!!
I bought a slide rule from an Engineer that worked for the county & he admitted he didn't understand it or could use it & had it on his desk to look good. People are getting degrees & learning nothing, especially part of a science that was standard learning less than 30-40 years ago. The modern methods of teaching, choices of subject matter & lack of cohesion with the past evolution of a subject are turning potential good students into idiots that otherwise could be turned into geniuses.
Without math, there is no Science. Having hated it at University, I now realise how important it is, to everything we do in life. Everything in life, for some reason or another, requires maths.
i got a piece on my account here that im DYING to know who is playing it and what its called..i love it..had it years now ,..no one knows 4 sure. but the maIN idea is its yngwie ( my fave..but i dont care if its not..just want to buy the whole song! its on my channel ..the unknown guitarist is its title.
@bloodyhellboy92 I mean, compared to Blitzkrieg or Far Beyond the Sun, this piece is easy to play. Yet, I'm not saying it's not a genius masterpiece, of course, I'm just talking about the difficulty.
Hey, I'll share your comment here: - too "straight" notes everywhere (without vibrato and/or bending) - open strings - out of tune in many places - Yngwie loves Bach, baroque; Mozart is Vienna classical As a serious Yngwie-fan, I'm willing to say this is not "genious" Yngwie-stuff (TM) ;)
Open strings: Malmsteen used open strings in Trilogy suite Vivace Prelude to april Blitzkrieg Vengeance .... Mozart: Youre correct that malmsteen loves bach, but only bach and baroque is not true, he is also influenced by others even mozart Overture 1622 is based on mozarts 25th symphony Amadeus quatro valvole is based on mozarts 20th piano concerto Seventh sign has bits of eine kleine nachtmusik in the interlude
Probably to God-himself skills!!! Although becker was influenced by Malmsteen,he himself moved theory and music in general forward and in only 4 years!Nice to see Someone bring his name!
Yes. Malmsteen's "only" rock guitar influence is Blackmore because of the several times Blackmore because of the "neo-classical" flavor Blackmore added to several songs(wished he'd done more of it). And no question Malmsteen and every other neo guy listened Paganini, Bach, Beetohvan, and Mozart. Paganini's Four Season's was of course embraced by neo-guitarists including Malmsteen. But, Bach was his biggest I think. But Mozart? Not so sure.
This is YJM first of all that is him on the picture second he played his songs with orchestra this is 40th symphony in metal world he is playing it like the song should be not fast not slow IT IS HIM so... just listen to the master YJM he is the best if u dont trust me search on youtube YJM and orchestra
Classic + metal = perfection
+Betel Noguera this is not metal, is it?
+endlesskurko Metal Version. And I agree with her
Asi es Gloria al Metal y Bach.
Hi
Trus
insane talent
Mozart would literally resurrect himself for this
this is why, such music existed in the first place
to be timeless, to be replayed
brilliant
Is Marc Pattinson from his album "Acoustic Afternoon", he got more songs playing other classical composers.
Very well played. I'm sure Mozart ld be proud to hear this.
Whether or not this is actually Yngwie (which this could or could not be, I'm not familiar with his work enough to make that call), this is still a great rendition of a metal version of Mozart's 40th and I personally love it
if not wrong it's Uli Jon Roth....sky avalon album
Csodálatos! köszönöm szépen!
Got to love it. Awesome work!
大変良い曲づくりだと思います。
@StanleyKu
Yngwie uses the DiMarzio HS-3 in the bridge position, which is a stacked humbucker.
Perfeito!
BADASS solo of this Master...
incredible.....
Fantastic
Well SOMEHOW I managed to get from studying for my music GCSE to here within about five minutes of researching the piece...
Lols, that's hilarious to me.

@Greebo111 But he has a single coil sound. They are wound like a humbucker to be quiet but they sound almost beyond single coil. He doesn't have the typical buzzsaw distortion from a hot pickup.

Malmsteen would've done this about 146X faster than the original version with tons of added sweep picking arpeggios and other fireworks to wow the metal audience of 1984.
this is incredilble
Freaken Awesome
Quit hating on the damn video and just listen to this beauty! Now shut up please! thank you!

its not metal version, just a guitar playing melodic themes mostly violin solos... Metal version is modify harmony, rhythm, execution, etc.
READ
Neoclassical Metal version
Lia Vermaere I dont know what it meant as "neoclassical" but still a (non) metal version
I'm with you, an electric guitar cover is not metal. I believe that neoclassical is also called new age (look for Yanni's 2006 concert for an example)
yes, this is a INSTRUMENTAL VERSION, no Metal.
LMAO
It's malmsteen, when he played with a symphony orchestra. It's a tribute to his classical influence.
I´m sorry but that´s just nonsense ! Yngwie played with the orchestra yeah he did, but he composed his own original songs and he arranged his pieces like far beyond the son for an orchestra. The fact that Yngwie started off as a classical violin player as a child has a lot to do with his love and style of play when playing classical pieces such as this and any other he plays.on guitar.
Hi
Not really correcy
malmsteen plays without any stringvibrations beside the strings he is picking. this guy does
brilliant Mozart.......classical..... and salute to Yngwie JM
Definitely shows that he's a classical musician at heart and that he plays what he's asked in this case.
Yngwie or not this is pure class :)
@HPTexanProductions Just because it says on UA-cam it's Ynkkä, sure as hell does not make it so. Sounds more like Alkana to me too, but srsly I don't really care, it sounds quite pleasing enough in my ear ;-)
かっこいい
I don't know who is actually playing, but it's very good. I not sure whether WAM would approve though.
Sounds great but it´s never yngwie, he´s got a totally differnt tone, more like a violin instead of this, but anyway great playing
Hmm I Agree, i think you would kinda ''feel'' it when Yngwie blay'd thad
Ellen RipleyAlien KillerNrOne
Yeah, Yngwie does not copy it or cover it that way, i can´t actually tell you why or whats the difference but you´re right you just feel it when yngwie plays it :D
Sounds like he isn't playing with his strat, but it sounds like his style
Who is this ?
I suppose in the end, greatness is greatness no matter what name we attach to it.
he didn't play the lute, he was taught how to fix them. He did try it in a homage to Richie Blackmore , did not go so well. He does play the cello though.

Too tasteful to be Yngwie, who can't resist shreding every five seconds.
