it would be nice to see a DLC that evolves the weapon with an Arcana
Technically speaking we have this, not exactly how it's done but we have Prismatic Missile and its evolution having unique effects depending on the first Arcana you chose.
"Selecting Heart of Fire (XIX) Arcana causes the missiles to explode again, dealing half of its damage in an area.
Jail of Crystal (XIV) gives the missiles a 25% chance to freeze enemies. This chance is affected by Luck.
Twilight Requiem (II) allows the missiles to explode again when they hit the ground."
I think the main downside of having weapons that evolve with Arcana is that Arcanas are a difficult topic in the game. Either only 2 make sense and you don't care about any other Arcana, or you'd need 5 slots but can only have 4 max. So slotting in an Arcana just for an evolution could feel really restricting. I kinda just hope for evolutions of evolutions that require multiple evolutions, and you can only have 1 per game
