    Run is an important survival tool. You are the weapon. A daily exercise discipline that gives you the capacity to maintain the stamina and strength for run or fight is a must. If your core makes the ready rig tight or your midline is wider than your hips, take action. For myself, at 57 yrs old, it's a daily battle for me, but running a mile in gear or being able to fireman carry a person one day will save a life. Fasting is an effective and free way to reduce the midline quickly.

    For me, low vis means plussing up pistol mags and support gear under an Unobtainuim Gear DR-LV under a jacket or shirt. When a rifle comes into the picture, IMO, you are no longer "low viz". You've got a whole tailgate full of stuff there. That's nearly full battle rattle. Might be better to house the medical and other support gear in a courier type bag so it can be easily accessed while in the vehicle - since that seems to be the concept here (working out of a vehicle vis dismounting).

    • @teardown-systems
      @teardown-systems  2 місяці тому +1

      @@appoutfeed love your set up have a few buddies that run similar stuff. The ready rig is near to that we just prefer the design lf it. Like we mentioned the ready rig adapter is exactly for that where it isn’t meant for low vis but for that additional upping of capability when the situation changes. As for the courier bag they work, but just not our preference. As we have separate medical for just medical responses.

    I’ll be honest if you respond to any type of incident wearing that I.e. active shooter or killer. YOU WILL GET DROPPED. If not by the bad guy by the police. Your low pro is so overt it’s crazy. Let’s be real you need a mindset change, risk mitigation needs to be prepped. More of a risk getting your kit stolen out ur Land Cruiser in the next 6months than you ever using that. This is a Rittenhouse mindset.

    • @teardown-systems
      @teardown-systems  2 місяці тому +5

      @@Robotgypsy it depends on what you respond to. Like we mentioned in the video, the ready rig is quite low vis, with the ready rig panel its not and is meant to respond to something bigger, carrying more medical and such. As for the plate carrier theres nothing overt about it, it’s fully slick. Not all of this stays in our vehicles. Some is at home, work, and or in a pack. Getting dropped by the police is definitely a possibility and something any one should take into consideration.

    This is a great gear video but realistically it’s gonna be useless unless you have the time to prepare most of the time you fight with what you have on you and honestly your best tool is your common sense drive away, don’t choose to fight unless absolutely necessary, do not make unnecessary decisions that will put you in a bad spot. This is always the downside to just having gear in a realistic situation is that your just not going to use it the only think that you may use is a first aid kit but truly everything else your armor is useless if your already getting shot at and again unless you have time to put it on and not taking your eyes off your target the target can easily ambush you while equipping gear.

    What is the use case for this kit? Carrying a lock pick set is illegal in most places because it’s considered burglary tools. What places are expecting to have to gain access that you would actually need a lock pick set? A face mask? Come on now. For every day carry? You better hope you don’t get pulled over and searched bud!Even if you did have some situation arise where you would be able to use your lock picks do you really think it makes sense to sit there and pick a lock in a tactical situation? Hypothetically lets say the mask and lock picks wasn’t for some silly goon fantasy of wanting to load up and basically do a raid style assault with your identity concealed and your soft entry equipment how do you think its gonna look when you have that stuff on you as a first responder to whatever ridiculous hypothetical scenario you wanna come up with? Let me put it to you like this at the very least your gonna be put on trial probably arrested and jailed unless you can make bail and then all that fancy shit is gonna sit in an evidence locker until your trail is over. You might not get it back at all. At thats at least. Some cops will throw the book at you and some judges will try to force the book down your throat. They don’t care about your intentions or if you actually helped out or saved lives or whatever. They are gonna see a gun toting vigilante. Ditch the mask grab a high vis civilian vest and carry a hatchet. Anything you could ever wanna open with that stupid lock pick set can be defeated by a mini pry bar and a hatchet or hammer. And honestly forced entry will probably never be something you will do at least not ethically, or intelligently, and definitely not legally😂😂😂. And honestly man if your gonna kit up and grab a rifle your a moron if you think that your low vis chest rig is going to make you any less obvious with that freaking weapon in your hands clearly visible😂😂😂😂.

    • @teardown-systems
      @teardown-systems  2 місяці тому +1

      I simple search of the law would prove having a lockpick case is not illegal. Also our case carries a mini prybar. We have used these more than anything else we carry day to day outside of medical equipment. Friends and family get locked out all the time, its good to help them. The rifle has its place just like with everything anyone owns. You may not have a reason to have anything thats up to you and for you to decide. For us we saw reasons during riots to have a low vis plate carrier. During medical responses we found reasons to carry more than just a single tq.

    • @NewtonFIGnewton
      @NewtonFIGnewton 2 місяці тому

      @ i called you out for the mask and lock picks. I have a tq in my pocket right now and one more in my bag and another in vehicle in the driver side door. Also your lock picks being legal is probably true but I never said anything about possession i was talking about carrying them. Most states consider it intent just because its on you and would be felony possession of burglary tools. Highly recommend you look into that. Also even if its not illegal in your state if your accused of a crime and you have that lock pick set on you its gonna be an additional charge.
