- WELCOME to my 18th flight in 2018! On 3rd July, I flew a relatively new Cathay Pacific service with their Airbus A350-900, from Hong Kong to Brussels.

Thank you for watching, Michael! Indeed very quiet, you will notice the difference of an A350 if you do a flight review like I do. You need to speak louder while doing voice-over with an A330 😂

Thank-you for sharing your experience with us, which brought back many memories for me. For back in 1995-1996, I was stationed at NATO HQ in Mons, Belgium, which made Brussel’s airport the most convenient airport for me to use. As soon as I complete this comment, I’ll be viewing your trip report, but in the meantime, I have heard that the A350 is the quietest commercial aircraft that is flying. Would you please tell me your opinion as to how quiet it is, especially as it compares to other large commercial aircraft? Upon viewing the gate areas while you taxied, one memory that flooded my brain was the long hike between the check in counters and departure gates, which still holds the record for being the longest for me. Given my destinations in the US, Delta was my airline of choice, and its boarding gate was always one of the last few at the end of the concourse. Whew! Thank-you again for your post. I am looking forward to view your trip report.

A350 is indeed incredibly quiet. I personally think it's a little quieter than the A380. You really do realise the noise difference of an A330 and an A350 if you do flight reviews like me. When reviewing an A330, you need to speak louder because of all the engine noise! For A350, I can speak softly and comfortably :D
Brussels Airport doesn't look very big but it's long, making the walking distance long too! Once again, thank you for watching and sharing your memories and thoughts :D
