On this video Monsieur Fray demonstrates not only his deepest cultured & coloured constant practice that fundaments his Mastery but also a tiny bit of his brilliant humour in order to enunciate the theme source for this concerto at 1:11 plus his allusion to Einstein's Theory of Relativity to elucidate its contrapuntistic horizon enriching the dialogue ( "attaque") between the pianist and the members of the camerata (klavier & strings in Bach's time) at 3:54 to 4:54 which is in itself a minimasterclass, quite quite brilliant he is indeed, the very kernel for me being from 15:48 to 17:59 specially at 16:19 when he talks about the "necessité structurel". In fact, every word, every excerpt/phrasing-play at the piano's keys illustrates not only Bach's genius but also Fray's which makes his masterclasses so captivating, please check the complete film made a decade ago called "Swing, Sing and Think": ua-cam.com/video/xV_L7kh08cE/v-deo.html via EuroArts channel in this platform! in case you haven't watched it yet ( am addressing those of the youth that am sure shall comment ). Merci merci pour la partage. B R A V O Je me suis inscrit maintenant au "Pianiste Magazine" merci beaucoup! P.S.: Enthralled as I am with all these posts in which Mtro. David Fray performs live and converses, I'll be kept playing them "on repeat" because they act like a balm for my soul✨🙏🏻✨thank YOU
interesting how he feigns vibrato (?) on the piano key by 'turning' his finger on the note after it's been hit, as if the keyboard were a ('string') string instrument and the note, once played, would actually respond that way

@@pyrrhos77 Oui 🙃
You tube offers automatically generated French subtitles, or their English translation. Not always accurate but still better than nothing.
