I’m 35 and was also diagnosed with Hashimotos about 15 years ago. I’m taking LDN as well which has significantly reduced my antibody count. My biggest problem is that I just don’t ovulate at all. I haven’t had a natural period since I was 15 and still hoping for a miracle. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one going through this though.
Ugh, I'm so so so sorry! Have you ever worked with a naturopath or functional medicine doctor? They're obviously not miracle workers, but they were so helpful in my healing, especially hormonally. I didn't deal with the ovulation issue, but maybe they could be helpful for you. Either way, I'm sending you so much love and I hope your miracle comes true!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I have Hashimoto’s and currently on my TTC journey. Good suggestion to consult an endocrinologist in addition to my gynecologist. And also to maybe not worry as much to get pregnant and just focus on being healthy.
Hi! What is the ttc fb group you recommended? Also, do you know of a pregnancy with Hashimoto’s app? I’m looking for one that maybe touches on diet and exercise.
Two years ttc with hypothyroidism.. what tests or what test do you request to see if you also have hoshimotos? I only have hypothyroidism now because I had thyroid cancer. But even being on synthroid I feel like crud all the time. Went to reproductive endo and they say everything is fine but 🤷♀️
They need to test your antibodies (TPO antibodies) to find out about Hashimoto’s! Find a good doctor that’ll test that or send you to an endocrinologist. I’ve had better luck with functional medicine doctors but I have one here in Chicago that’s covered by insurance. I’m taking Armour which is better for Hashimoto’s (usually - at least for me…) because it helps both pieces of your thyroid hormone. I hope you find someone that will help ❤️
i got hashimoto's after my 1st pregnancy. my AntiTPO is 1160... :( baby no.2 is so not happening. :( had 2 early miscarriages at week6 in the last 1.5years.
I’m so sorry 🩷 I haven’t had antibodies that high so I don’t have any miracle advice or anything. For me, the only thing that helped me tpo was lifestyle changes (gluten free and less “toxic” products) but I also did a bunch of supplements with my naturopath that helped my overall health and might’ve helped my TPO lower.
Do you remember about what your levels were when you conceived? I’m on armour also and have heard that it’s better to be at the low end in TSH, or even close to 0 to conceive. My doctor sees anything under 1 as hyper though so she adjusts my meds accordingly 😗
I don't remember exact levels, but I was lower on TSH! My doctor had my TSH pretty low, but still healthy, making sure all other parts of my thyroid were in a healthy range, too. Now, once I got pregnant... my levels went crazy haha.

The one I was in is “Hashimotos and TTC, Pregnancy and Baby.” I don’t know of any app for pregnancy that’s focused on hashimotos - I wish one existed!
Is hashimoto a lifelong medication aren’t they have no cure or they have cure ????
It depends - some people can get their antibodies low enough to be in remission but most people need a medication forever!
@@JessieFritz 😭 than I’m also life long medication
Yet I want to conceive but my TSH showing in report 9 above how much level do I need to balance to get conceived
@@moanarojamir229 I’m not 100% sure! My doctor checked more than just TSH but both times I got pregnant my TSH was between 1.5-2.5.

I am gluten free, dairy free for almost 2 years, no pastry/ sugary stuff & my tpo antibodies reach 5,000.
I need to find the way out how to low it…

1-2 is a really good TSH level, varies a bit by person. The TSH isn’t the only indicator for conceiving but it certainly helps! ❤
@@SheThrivesNaturally what are what are the other levels that need to be checked?
Which medicine you taken for antibodies in pregnancy
I took LDN but went off it once I was pregnant
Thankyou
