So what happens to wood waste afterwards? And the electrical stuff I know then gets separated and recycled into various materials. But then with normal rubbish, I assume it gets shredded so its compacts better in landfill? I also suggest removing all the power leads before going thru that shredder as they just all got tangled on it.
Look like the shredded building material could be run through another shredder to make even smaller pieces. What's all this shredded wood going to be used for....??
If they're shredding metals and general debris in the same place, they need to have a magnetic separator to reclaim the recyclables. Otherwise, the process is not environmentally friendly.
paul backhard. It's so the material compacts in the landfill better. Some places even shred household trash so bacteria has an easyer time breaking it down.
As most of the material shown in this vid. appears to stem from buildings then there must be a considerable amount of metal fittings still in or attached to it.Is this non-wood material later separated or is everything simply burnt?
If you look closely you'll see that it has a cross belt magnet that puts ferrous metal into the red skip by the side of the machine. The electrical waste will be sorted using magnets and an eddy magnetic field to sort aluminium etc.
microwave ovens are a gold mine for those who love to make usable tools stuff, HV supplies, spot welders, heavy duty battery chargers, timers, kilns, etc etc. WHAT A WASTE !!
you need a Wasteoelextraction,Charcoal und Woodgas,so you can drive the hole Company without extra Powerinput. A Woodgasgenerator give you all you need,
This is partly due to manufacturers making products that are incapable of being repaired, justifying making exactly the same thing packaged in the latest ‘new’ must have design. They are also guilty of intentionally manufacturing products that have a limited useable lifespan, a built in obsolescence . The consumer therefore has no choice but perpetuating the situation . We are being conditioned into thinking we must purchase the latest item or we are failing to keep abreast of the so called ‘latest technology’
Joshua's Recordings About right, found a Sony at the dump a few weeks back, in full working order, even the CD. Then an AIWA today, dual cassette, again, full working order. Both are AC bias, both immaculate. Such a wasteful world we live in.

Jacob Nolan sadly this is what companies want; equipment to fail because of a minor problem, spare parts are purposely discouraged by making them hellishly expensive and the only option is for them to turf the product and buy a new one... It is genocide
Mac Man I still maintain appliances of certain ages, 26 year old hifi & TV, 28 year old washing machine, 21 year old vacuum cleaner, and 30 year old kettle.
this thing eats loads of stuff fast very tempting to order one of these bad boys to break down alot of the old metals at the scrap yard would make sorting the stuff much easear lol
the amount of copper and precious metals ground up into a useless paste is just staggering! further evidence of humans destroying the planet we live on. :(
If this trash had some value to it someone would have taken it out to make money from it. People always say it is good stuff they should save it well if had more value than crushing then someone would do that. It is JUNK.
Small and convenient throughout everyday operations this is what our government needed to pursue getting
I can't be the only one that can see this all day.
mannyrosario83 nope you arent! I just got home from a 5 hr drive, and im watching this so i can relax and go to sleep
I see the Doppstadt in the background. That's a fantastic shredder

Wood, plastic, sheet rock, electronics and metal all shredded together.. what are the pieces used for
I know I collect vacuums and some of them were still good.
Look like the shredded building material could be run through another shredder to make even smaller pieces. What's all this shredded wood going to be used for....??

There is a magnet at the bottom of the conveyor, so it is able to catch the metals!!
+Paddy Harps only the ferrous metals. copper, brass, gold, silver are not magnetic.
This promo video only shows the outside casings being shredded, it is possible that the precious metals were removed prior to shredding.
nothing some Humans do is environmentally friendly.
Doesn't look like the electrical items with electric cords shred very well! The cords get wrapped around the augers.
Wow that's amazing you have a pile of rubbish and made it into a pile of rubbish that is in slightly smaller pieces .
That's just what I thought.Lol.
paul backhard. It's so the material compacts in the landfill better. Some places even shred household trash so bacteria has an easyer time breaking it down.
What do you do with all of these chopped up pieces? Where does it all go. Landfills?

Great video.
How do you realistically get all the trapped cables off from around the two spinning shafts after shredding white goods?
***** o bug off mate
Amazing machine.

Now that you've identified the problem, do something about it

This is the second machine that is required for work site just fastened the operation

Did anyone see the boombox at 6:27? That is a Sony and is only 1-2 years old at the time of this video! Such a waste!
Joshua's Recordings About right, found a Sony at the dump a few weeks back, in full working order, even the CD. Then an AIWA today, dual cassette, again, full working order. Both are AC bias, both immaculate. Such a wasteful world we live in.
I saw other boomboxes too :(
Man. What have become when start watching big machines eat as form of entertainment? 🙃
Very nice
How is this a ‘slow speed’ shredder???
there are a lot of things that shouldn't get shredded...like microwaves... which seemed as though was 50% of this

And that's what our society do.........
таке відчуття що він перекладає з пустого в порожнє))))
what i'm seeing is a huge waste of recoverable appliance parts. This whole throw - away society really shits me
It is such a shame, considering that most of that might not even have been broken and even if they were broken, may have been only slightly broken.
Jacob Nolan sadly this is what companies want; equipment to fail because of a minor problem, spare parts are purposely discouraged by making them hellishly expensive and the only option is for them to turf the product and buy a new one... It is genocide

Jacob Nolan yeah i do the same exept with everything mechanical or electrical, as they say; the older the better!
Jacob Nolan what make is your washing machine by the way?

The wood looks as shredded on the input as the output. Did it really do anything?
Ok, now what do you do with all that crap once it's. Shreeded.
Ahh, Mercury, good for the environment :D

Would your company accept me wearing only diapers along with one or two 8 yard dumpsters worth of loose, wet cloth and disposable diapers?
How did i end up here at 3 am
Pick up a mess on one side and the machine does it on the other side well done 😂😂😂
this thing eats loads of stuff fast very tempting to order one of these bad boys to break down alot of the old metals at the scrap yard would make sorting the stuff much easear lol

Good video. ♡ T.E.N.

Recycle the rest
The crane operator is very slow
Shredding household waste! I can’t imagine the smell in that building. Might even be as bad as the White House!
Tangeld!.!?.
the amount of copper and precious metals ground up into a useless paste is just staggering! further evidence of humans destroying the planet we live on. :(
As far as I know the metals are going to be filtered out and recyled
I see another person using a computer or a phone filled with precious metals that were dug out of the earth being a hypocrite 🤔 🙄 😐
4:30 Sad:(
Hungry machines
Ok, so big bits of rubbish are now smaller bits of rubbish. Now what?
The wood part of this video looked like the wood had already been shreded
