I say today was pretty successful! I got to my closest Walmart a little after they opened and got lucky. I saw someone I went to high school with who works there, so he got me Mario, Bowser, and the 4 kart figures from the back. The next Walmart, nothing. I got to Target right before they opened. After one employee was done helping someone, he asked me if I was looking for anything. He was able to get me Luigi, Toad and Peach. The next Target the same thing, this time with the plumber's van. I had 3 employees at 3 different stores help me, that never happens haha. The only things I didn't see are the Hot Wheels plumber's van and Mario Kart movie kart. I'm sure the main action figures will be the ones sought after the most, and I can grab the castle and mini-question block figures another time. I visited multiple stores, both Walmarts and Targets, and only 1 Walmart had a few kart figures out (at that point I had everything I was after). I will see tomorrow if more stuff gets put out.
That's so awesome that all those employees helped you out and that you were able to find what you're looking for. And it seems like not as many Walmarts have the toys than Targets right now
I found them at a target I've never been at before! I got the Mario and Luigi figures and the big plushies of Mario and Luigi! It was hard to find the plushies, but it was worth it!!
Let's hope that in a wave 2 there is a playset from the mega floating world of bowser. as well as large scale figures of fire peach and fire mario, Daisy, spike, yoshi, kamek, king pablo XD, donkey kong, mario tanooky, crazy ideas

How are you guys finding birdo? I went to target and they had the wave but birdo is always gone. Do you know the best day to go to target is to find the most popular figures like birdo and baby mario
I'm not sure the best day but you can try asking an employee to check the back to see if there are any Birdos. I've heard of people doing that with toys and getting them

These are a bit expensive for what you get, but the ones I’m not getting seem very overpriced to me. Even though I’m a big Mario collector that loves to buy everything Mario I see, I’m going to be happy with the few toys I’m going to buy!
I ordered the bowser on the target website and I want to get the 5 inch mario and luigi. I will probably get some of the mario kart toys. I want the playsets also. Did you know the mario and luigi 5 inches have 16 points of articulation that is why I want to get them, man that is a lot of points of articulation for 1 figure.
I only found the playsets but I can’t find the 2.5 kart characters and I’m sad but I am also happy that some of the playsets are mine I have the castle and the mini van so I’m excited and I have everyone of the little micro characters except koopa paratroopa
"do not get on ebay because they're easy to find in store or online for the right price" Sadly not entirely true; here in Canada they don't sell the plush figures, we don't have Target and their site will not ship to Canada, so I'm gonna have to buy one from a scalper :(

I found the figures at GameStop All I did was ask the employee so if you're somewhere and they don't have them on the shelf try asking an employee =)
