Love it. I moved from NYC to LA about 2 years ago and I LOVE all the sunshine I get now, and my new place is nearly double the the size of my old Queens apt, but only about 15% more expensive.

You make your apartment look so big and I love the laundry room. Some apartments don’t have individual laundry machines. Your kitchen is huge. I saw you on tv news cooking. Good luck on your auditions.
I've had a similar litter mat in the past and it's very hard to clean. There are options that are double layered where there is a mesh on top and like a pad on the bottom. This has been the easiest for me. Once the other mat gets dirty no amount of vacuuming, shaking it out, or washing will get it clean.

I didn't know you moved to LA! When I saw that old kitchen, I felt so sad! Lol! So many happy times trying Costco and Trader Joe's Asian foods! (That's all I watch of your videos because I don't like to watch food videos that I won't ever have access to). So looking forward to new hauls in the new kitchen! Maybe now from a market in LA's fabulous Little Tokyo (I have been there but a long time ago) and they must have a great K Town too! I love apartment tours too! It was nice to see the whole NY apartment and what you get for that $$$$!

You can easily put in your floor a little reading corner. A small bench with storage e.g made out of rattan. Ikea has a new rattan bench from the series Tolkning. Would be fitting amazing in your urban boho appartment.

congrats on the move TJ, new crib is an upgrade. Could you share on the cost of moving itself? Did the cats fly with you or did you drive?
Of course! The total move cost $4500 including packing by the moving company! I also tipped the movers very generously so that was an additional $1K. My cats flew with me on Delta! I got really good carrier bags and my neighbor flew with me so we each had one kitty with us! They didn't have a problem at all, a few meows here and there but they slept once they got on the plane!
Welcome to the West Coast. Love your apartment. Enjoy your food shopping / cooking so much ... but am a Japanese Vegan so look at the brands not necessarily the product. Vegan is obvious, but Japanese means I eat sashimi (raw fish). Keep up the happy videos and continue to enjoy life ... I am a fan.

Okay here's my hot tip: take your largest cat stretch him out on the floor from the tip of his paw to the tip of his rear paw then go out and buy a vertical scratching post that's about 5 inches longer than that. Then buy some fresh and I do mean fresh catnip and sprinkle it over the post. My mother taught me this who had a Devon Rex cattery. I did this with a number of girlfriends with cats and it always worked. This will give your couch a Fighting Chance 🙄
