The surrounding mountains, volcanic rock formations speckled with vibrant wild flowers, fascinating water canal, interesting story makes it a captivating watch. Nice recreational area. Hi Gaspar! I know right where this is!! I’ve hiked around this loop! Kenny wants to return to AZ bc he can’t stand the humidity here in Florida. We may be neighbors, lol! The canal is very interesting and I like that they use carp for cleaning . You give a lot of great information about the topography . Left you another like sir and looking forward to seeing more .

Beautiful trail especially with wild flowers in bloom. Circumference trail is a perfect day out of the hustle and bustle of Phoenix. Got to love the water cannel. Basalt is a good rock. In California it's used for making roads, concrete and asphalt. 🤠👍Thanks for the hike. Cheers
