I like seeing blacks holding up Mexican culture. In Phoenix Az I rode a 77 Caprice classic in 1979 my brother drove a 77 Monte carlo in 1979 also. Mexican brothers from Los Angeles would come down to Phoenix Az and show us their lowriders. Lowriders came out of los Angeles from Mexican lowriders. Blacks in Phoenix would drive big pimp caddilacs, pimps loved them caddilacs. Mexicans would be up and down central avenue showing their rides. I would say about 300 to 500 lowriders on the weekend up and down with hydraulics.whites would be up and down north Phoenix in hotrods. I'm 65 years old and seen the change in the Southwest back then there was no black lowriders until ice cube had a lowrider in his music video then it started with blacks lowridering not much about 10 to 20 in my time but Mexican lowriders go back into the 40s in Los Angeles the lowrider capital.
