Hey Inja, The Gen 3 Stride is a similar step-thru ebike but it has the addition of front suspension fork. The current price is $899.00 after $300. coupon good thru 6/30. It has a Bafang 500/1000 watt high torque 65nM motor and it passed the Electric Bike Report “Hell Hole” hill climb test! It’s a killer deal! I seriously don’t think the Okai Stride is worth $1,599.00! I guess ebike pricing has risen in general, but if you shop around the are a few good values like the Lectric XP 2.0 @ $999.00. Just noticed their website shows out of stock so it’s academic.
I don't understand how with these bikes getting so good why don't they have bigger seats to hold at least two people?? That's the only thing holding me back from getting this over a scooter
For this price if you're looking to have a passenger you're probably better off getting a scooter with an extra seat or one of the more motorcycle like Ebikes.

Watching now but the swappable battery is a huge plus I'd think. Too bad it doesn't have any suspension but it makes it simple with less things to go wrong and maintain. 1500 might be kinda high but I suppose it depends on what you really want in the bike.
great video.pretty much all the bikes you get like this are limited at 20mph throttle only.the peddle assist is what gets you the 28mph,or atleast that is what i have found with lectric and aventon.i think over 20 on throttle only puts it in a different class.my lectric cut out at 20mph peddle when i got it and changed some setting to get 28mph peddle assist but that makes it a class 3 ebike and you are then limited to were you can ride it.
You must set the thumb throttle at the correct distance so you don't get thumb ache 👍, you have it too close to your hand, thumb needs to be slightly extended before you push lever 👌
Only seventeen miles for the test but the average rider will use both throttle and pedal to get the best range. I would say around thirty miles like that which is more realistic.
It's a nice clean design, although I feel like you're paying for the styling more than the functionality at this price point. Also: Man, you got some nice looking bike paths over there.
Big fan, love the content, but on a serious note the swearing is unecessary, I know the majority don't mind but the ones that do, well you lose respect from them. It's a habit, and it's difficult to get rid off, but it will improve your speech and increase your audience as well as help retain viewers.

It’s odd the light up top on the handlebars but it’s different. I’m curious on how it lights up everything with it being up that high
I think most ebikes ship with a light that is just meant to make you visible at night to drivers not necessarily light up the road.

Range is perfect, they all do 15 miles on a 10- 13ah battery
Out of all the cant find where to plug the charger in. It shows but then I look and there isn't a plug on the bike

I got about ~16 miles range with pedal assist. Not great. Especially as manufacturer claims 30+ range
