I never realized how massive the fan shrouds on the 40 series cards are relative to the actual size of the GPU. 😂 I’ve been thinking about upgrading to one and trying water cooling, and that alone is a big point in favor of doing so.

Depends on how you mount it. At a 45 degree angle, I don’t think you need it, weight is distributed. On a regular configuration, the heatsink is too heavy, if you notice sagging then I’ll suggest putting one. If you’re using a waterblock, it’s also fine.

Hey sorry if this is old but I just got this case. Do you think a GPU support bracket is needed as too much stress on the PCB. Currently have a 4090.

I just bought the beads you recommended the last time to make a boba reservoir, but wont it get stuck in the reservoir? I dont want to run it dry.
When we still had the boba PC, it ran continuously for six months without issues

why is the hot water coming from the CPU goes directly to the GPU and not let it pass through one of those radiators?
