What brackets did you use for the Lower mounting brackets of rear shocks. The stock on mine were staggered and hits the wheel on the driver side. I have the same suspension you have on your 78
We used the Performance Online RSRK7081 inboard shock relocate kit. www.performanceonline.com/1970-81-chevy-camaro-pontiac-firebird-shock-relocation-kit-rear/
We used the standard EC-80FU for the bulk of it (I use it in a lot of builds) and interfaced it with the short EC-8001U. We did weld in a washer, but you could have stacked a few washers as well.
