taylor allen wow, that's amazing dude. Maybe you can answer the question for all of us since you were there. it's been on the back of my mind for decades.
Hey, Mr. Allen, I had a question concerning these shorts. Do you remember doing one of these shorts that involved a perfect sandwich? I've been looking for that short for 17 years.
This stuff was nicely filmed, charming, and had some likable child actors. Wish Nickelodeon had some more creativity with their live-action series these days.
+LuneyTune72 they do have a lot of creativity, bad creativity that is. with how horrible nickelodeon is these days, they should just give up on their creativity.
You should upload the rest of these shorts. I remember one where a girl talked about her mother throwing her an embarrassing birthday party, but Fenris keeps saying he would like to come and every time, the kids on the bus were screaming, and there was this one kid who kept running down the aisle!
I love seeing all this nostalgia stuff in bite size pieces, that's a smart move on Nick's part!! I just hope this studio doesn't mistake us enjoying and sharing short bursts of nostalgia (like stuff on this channel) by making the move to actually start rebooting series from the 90s. I saw that they already brought back Hey Arnold for some movies...But I just hope they leave Rocko and Ren And Stimpy alone! Some people say they want that but they won't once they get it. But unlike most people around here, I have faith that Nickelodeon will not sink to something so obviously desperate and instead continue to make new, original series! That's where the 90s series came from! Anyways, long time fan and big supporter of The Splat!
I seem to recall that Nickelodeon tried to turn this into a full half hour series (under the name "Bus #9", if I remember correctly), similar to what they did with "The Adventures of Pete & Pete", but it never made it past the pilot which may have only aired once or twice. My guess was it ended up being a little too gimicky.
I still think they should make channel for "The Splat". All the pre Viacom erra series. Shows that aired from the start of Nickelodeon to 2000. It would be a change of pace that we can enjoy. Sure they air old school shows late on Teen Nick but i feel more could be done.
+Benjamin Nataniel Binc Thompson Start pushing for physical bluray releases too please! Fans have been asking for them for over a DECADE! Now we are all out of college and working professionals - WE CAN afford the blurays - so make them!
He scared the bully away! Man, that cracks me up. Lol!
He just keeps going and going and going!!!!!!!!
Thanks Splat!! I'm the kid looking at the shoes at 1:38! Have been looking for this for years!

Any memories on making this short? I am writing about the series for my blog Razor-Candy.com. You can PM me if interested.
taylor Allen how old we're you?
No way!
THIS is what Nickelodeon is missing today. I'm watching this now, drunk as fuck, laughing and remembering the good old days!

***** Not good mentality but I see how you feel.
Well this is one way to deal with bullying without resorting to violence!
Truly, an Anti-Bullying PSA ahead of its time!
True
I miss watching those bus shorts on Nick.
I thought I'd never see this again! Thank you Splat😘😝
Long live the 90s nickelodeon
Why they never continued the story?
The Splat uploading "As Our School Bus Turns" episode(s)? Holy hell... that's AWESOME!

jasobres oh yeah! And, there's this random kid running frantically down the aisle 😂
"A party?"
"A Boy-Girl party?!"
"Ahhhhh!"
Benson Rigby
That loafers' kid had better be careful with those shoes.
And that best part this was filmed right here in Jersey.
Please bring back this whole series!
Oh my god I've been looking everywhere for clips of this for years! I was starting to think I imagined them!
OMG! I remember this from when I was a kid! Thank you!

Joe Weatherford Plus, all the soap opera gimmicks were kept to a minimum on that show.

Does anyone remember the episode with the clogger sandwich? I cant find it anywhere.
It can only be viewed at the Paley Media Center Nickelodeon Archive in LA.
Is that Jessica DiCicco the young one? Oh yeah it is!
Terena Marie turning 37 this year and still looking the same.
Joey Roller Yes she is, she's 36 turning 37 in June 10.
I think somewhere in the deepest etches of my brain I remember this. Anyone know the year this was originally aired?
