Few things to do as earliest as possible: Go to a police station, file a complaint so that if any crime happen with that phone. you will get your name clear. Also if they find the phone that's good.(Remember to get a signed copy of your FIR). Second go to the office of your sim card operator and tell them to block the number, also put the number on surveillance. Third ask your sim operator to give you another sim with same number. And yeah getting a sim is difficult in INDIA due to security reasons. So that no one can get sim easily to commit a crime.
