People always want tyranitar to evolve earlier but how scary would that be? Or would you make it earlier and nerf it's late game?

Its because how a lot of pokemon who had early game evo right now have VERY HUGE SPIKE of stat and power so if the enemy focuses on you early game then say goodbye to evo till ray

Honestly I would buff Rock Polish and make Tyranitar evolution at level 8. Also a Stone Edge rework could be pretty nice

Ya chris this is easily a stomp game tho. You could tell right from the start your opponents didnt even show up to mid for alteria at 8:00. It was just one of those games your opponents didn't exactly play that great. So to say its scary to buff it is kinda wild because it doesnt do this in half competitive games.
Lots of counters to ttar as well (ranged attackers can kite/kill). We got slowbro to hold it, umbreon to lock you in place. All the eevee forms spike at 4 and can handle you.
Idk i think every 3 stage evo should evolve at 8. Because games are either you stomp get to ttar fast and takeover or you straight get stomped out and arriving late (especially if you have a smart enemy knowing you need the farm and invade your xp holding you back further).
Nah, TTAR is really strong. It's the bad player syndrome that's keeping it in check. Even in this clip, you can see he used both ancient power and x speed. You NEVER do that as TTAR. You dive with AP and clean up using x speed to counter evasive counters. Ttar has no hard counters. The only mon that gives it a problem is glaceon, that's because glaceons passive can completely nullify AP losing true damage and life steal. The next mon it can struggle against is buzz only if you play his build, though. If you build movement speed into TTAR, he can absolutely shit on buzz and be a menace. Umbreon doesn't want that matchup because of true damage. And if you are actively targeting umbreon first, then that's a skill issue. Currently, I have 400 battles with a 67% win rate on him at 1700 masters.
I'm fine with Ttar evolving at LV 9. What isn't okay is Pupitar being so bad, it's worse than Larvitar. Pupitar can learn both Ancient Power AND Sand Tomb in the mainline games. It should be able to learn these moves in Unite as well, probably at LV 7, just remove the true damage effect till LV 9. 🤷
…that’s pretty smart actually. It’s not gonna be too OP for TTar but it’s also going to make the early game a whole lot better.

i think tyranitar does exactly what a pseudo legendary is supposed to do. Painful early game, very strong late game.
Evolving at earlier levels and nerfing late game would just go against that philosophy
Ttar is great in any game right now that doesn’t have a Miraidon on the enemy team. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen too often.

Tyranitar's entire design leads to a very polarizing performance; either it comes online early and bulldozes the game, or it fails to keep up come mid-to-late game and crumbles under the enemy team's lead.
While this is certainly in line with the philosophy of pseudo-legendary Pokemon, I feel like there's still a little room to make its early game a TOUCH smoother. Although I wouldn't grant more direct power or a faster evolution, maybe a lower CD on its passive and Rock Polish would be enough to keep it safe and moving to more steadily access its late-game fantasy. After all, at higher levels of play, most melee-based carries are prone to being kited by the right comps.
Well, here's what I thought it could use for a buff. An effort gauge for evolution. Like Karp. Guaranteed evo at level 8, unite at 9, think it'd be somewhat balanced after that. Maybe rework Stone edge a bit.
I just want pupitar's moves to get buffed a little (CD or Damage) and I think it will be in a good spot, still fine with it hitting level 9 to evolve.
I love playing Tyranitar! I would still really like a buff to Stone Edge tbh, it feels too cranky for this big boy
I'm using Weakness policy too but I have Rapid Fire Scarf and Foat stone instead of the other 2 item with X Attack, and it goes well in match
Kinda weird how ancient power tyran get counter hard by clefable follow me, making it when u are in ancient power u just get stun and follow clefable to death .
Clefable has a chance to get blocked when tyranitar uses ult. I was shoved when I ulted twice!I even used clefable and got blocked when tyranitar ult. All of that happens in 1 day. Idk of that rng or a bug.

Believe it or not, I enjoy playing Tyranitar in lane. Yea, some games my early game is super rough. But I put enough trust in my ganks that I can catch up on xp.

You know what would be nice? Is, if when ttar uses unite, its first/ two stomps will airborne the opposing mons
This game is a vacuum example of when things worked in your favour, good team comp helpful teammates etc. It definitely need to at least evovle at 8 as a minimum change.

Yeah, ttar can't hold ancient power by super power of buzzwole, especially if buzzwole is at lvl 13😞
Tyranitar is the only pokemon they should not get a Lvl Buff it's too scary

While it seems busted at times it's like gengar. Sometimes you do great and other times ass but I have blue ribbons with both and I'll say it's mostly ass with ttar.

Ich spiels gern ab und zu mit Sandtomb , ich find das Guard Item bei Despotar so wild oft ich bin tot .. das guard item geht auf und ich bekomm schild und BAM ... denke despotar sollte sich schon etwas früher entwickeln das zieht sich schon massiv als pupitar

Yea that’s if the TTar doesn’t have backup with him an Umberon easily shuts down slowbro with any shield nonsense if the slowbro was trying to hold out for their teammates to arrive or another slowbro cancels their unite too honestly the true counter is buzzwole

You can cancel buzzeole's stun while charging ancient so it's not that big of an issue

Held items are differences in this match you used weakness policy,attack weigh,Resonant Guard😢
It's more so waiting 5 minutes to be able to play, team mates can't hold their own long enough for it to matter

They should keep Ttar's design as is, the "super late-game mon." Why make all Pokemon the same? Just leave it's design as is as a super late-game char. If people want earlier evolves they have like Venusaur or Blastoise or other stuff now. I think Ttar is perfectly fine as is. Maybe make it so Stone Edge can crit and lower it's dmg a little accordingly for more held item variety. The other 3 moves are amazing tho imo.
Um......can u pls help me a little? And I think this is IMPORTANT So I had a match where I was not able to use my basic attack and everyone was going everywhere like bug enemy In my base and my team on enemies but I still scored and everything and saw I lost when I scored 100+ point and enemy had 0? Then I got out and checked again and it seems I was the only one having problems cuz my everything was actually zero??? It was so weird like why??? I was literally playing a different game. And it only happened to me( got some screenshot too) so who am I to complain? Pls help if anyone knows and be aware this happens..

Nah my boy need a buff he is to funny to play but need so much help and without a good team you can't even rush a team cause they will destroy you in a second,so on mi opinion they have to make him evolve at least 8 so he can start fight early better and they have to give him just some def and sp def extra overall fir better tank possibily,buffing dmgis a mistake cause he is already a massive dmg dealer but he need more invincible moment cause he suffer to much stuns and i have played in soloq against five enemy that have stun on every move and that was hell cause always I will be in a 1v3 and I can't do anything so giving him more invincibility or something that give him more shield and healing for being more a thing to certain enemy ,actually I talk as a ttar main

Titar is not the problem is that alooot of other mons aka the eevees make his late game pointless in a way since the eeves are soo good by just reaching lvl 4 they should nerf the late game of the early mons that are op through all the game pokemon since lvl 4

Nope he is perfect just like this, garbage at the start but if you're patient and farm. Let the first objectives go, you win every game, my Ttar is sitting at 71% win rate even though I have games where idiots steal my jungle and ex pokemon exist. Ttar is perfect as a late game menace
