As always, another great video Jim. I know you have more to do than time allows, but it would be really interesting to see you edit this photo using your “normal” process, just to see the differences. Wouldn’t even necessarily require a video on it (although it would be nice) but then a very good “this way or that” could be illustrated. But even if you don’t have time to put that together, great video showing yet another way of utilizing the power of NEO. Thanks again.

Wow, not starting with Develop RAW is like breaking the Prime Directive! 😆Good reminder to be more curious and experiment more. I've watched so many of your videos that I also automatically go Develop RAW, Supercontrast, Toning every time as well. Starting with anything else always makes me feel like I'm "missing" something.

Terrific and timely advise. I use the exact same workflow every time and need to break away.
Another piece of advise we get all the time is "never push it all the way to 100". Sometimes using 100 on one tool and then adjusting the effect with another tool can create an unexpectedly pleasant result.

Great advice Jim. It's easy to fall into a familiar editing pattern, especially when you're working with a LOT of photos. Something I've noticed in "Develop/Develop Raw" is that the "Curves" tool is overly responsive. The least little adjustment to the tool creates an overly aggressive change to the photo. Just wondering if you've found that to be the case and if there's any way to make the "Curves" tool adjustments more subtle (an "Opacity" option for all these tools would be helpful, and probably not that hard for Skylum to implement. Nudge nudge 😁).
Hi Tom and yes I have noticed that. I have asked for an opacity slider for each filter for a long time now. We will see if we get one. (fingers crossed)
