As for the rights issues here it goes and it's talked about in the extras too. MGM owns the rights to the original film and story, this includes the remake as they can only use the original story as a basis. When David Kirschner went to Universal he was able to take the Child's Play franchise along and it's been there ever since. I believe this is why characters specific to the 1st film haven't returned. Like Mike Norris, Karen Barclay & John (the Voodoo priest)
The Child's Play 4K from Scream Factory is a release you should get separately. It has 2 disc of extras on top of the 4K disc that's not on the Arrow Video disc. Though the Arrow Video disc is Region Free even though it says Region B on it. The Living with Chucky documentary is Region B but Screambox did release their own US release. The main reason I got this set over the rest of the Scream Factory releases is because it cost the same as it would've cost if I got Bride-Cult from SF & I definitely wanted the booklet. I actually bought from Arrow Video more this past year than I ever had since they've been doing these affordable 4K releases.
